This private half-acre home-site is just minutes away from beaches & restaurants. This incredibly appointed home is the ultimate get-away whether you want to relax or have fun. Outdoors, you can swim all day in the infinity edge pool or relax on the in pool sunning deck. Spend a quiet moment watching the koi in our 3,000-gallon pond. Relax on the large hammock while enjoying the magnificent sunset. You can even wash off the day's activities in the refreshing outdoor shower. Indoors, guests are treated to 3200 square feet of luxury all on one level. Enjoy the ocean view from any of the three large master suites. They are appointed with king sized beds, LCD TVs and private bathrooms. Each master bath boasts floor-to-ceiling travertine, granite and walk-in showers made for two. The main master bath includes its own 42-inch LCD TV above the Jacuzzi tub. A bonus room is set up for kids or can be easily converted for a couple. In the living room, enjoy the spectacular coastal view from the amazing corner pocketing doors or watch a DVD on the 70-inch LCD TV from our extensive library. Guests can enjoy a competitive game of shuffleboard on our 12ft table or play one of the many board games available. Cooks won't want to leave the fully equipped gourmet kitchen boasting high-end Thermador appliances, mahogany cabinetry and granite countertops. Of course, high-speed wi-fi and cable TV are included. DETAILS OF THE ACCOMMODATIONS: This spectacular home sits on a private half-acre lot surrounded by luscious tropical landscaping and palm trees and overlooks a stunning panoramic ocean view. This gated home boasts 3200 square feet of luxury all on a single level. The lanai tiki torches are only ornamental . Primary Suite 1 (Main Primary Suite) – This is our largest and most lavish. It includes a large walk-in closet, large king bed with comfy bedding and pillows, dresser, 50-inch LCD TV, DVD player and seating area. The large 16ft-pocketing door opens to the pool and boasts the best ocean view from any of the bedrooms. The luxurious private bathroom is appointed with floor to ceiling travertine, granite, two sinks, Jacuzzi tub, LCD TV, large walk-in shower with two shower heads and body jets. A door from the bathroom leads directly to the tropical outdoor shower. Primary Suite 2 – Located at the other end of the house, this bedroom includes a comfortable king sized bed, large closet, LCD TV, large sliding glass door, access to the large hammock and ocean view. The private bathroom is appointed with floor to ceiling travertine, granite and a walk-in shower large enough for two! Primary Suite 3 – Located next to Primary Suite 2, however, it has its own private entrance from the courtyard. Enjoy the view from the large sliding glass door, sleep in the comfy king sized bed or watch TV. Personal belongings can be stored away from view in the large walk-in closet. You will appreciate your own private bathroom with floor to ceiling travertine shower and granite countertop. Due to the location of this bedroom, it is unsuitable for children. Bonus Room – We converted the media room for additional sleeping to accommodate a California-king bed. There is no TV. Minimum night varies seasonally 5 - 10 nights. Very easy inside/outside living made occasional rain no big deal. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook elaborate meals, the pool and hot tub are well maintained with lots of toys for the kids. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. This property is gorgeous. From the breathtaking views to the large, open concept common area with comfy sectional, large table and fully retractable wall to the pool area, it was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter successfully beating cancer! (Woo hoo!)We had 7 adults and the space accommodated us perfectly. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and three of the four bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The kitchen had a large refrigerator with a second refrigerator on the patio. We cooked several dinners at the home and had everything we needed. We even had a chef prepared dinner the last evening which we highly recommend. The views from the back of the home are spectacular. Stunning sunsets and a gentle breeze make it the perfect location. You can go "up the hill" a mile and there is a quaint town with coffee shops, gift shops and a restaurant. Going down to Kona takes about 10 mins where they have a Safeway, Walmart and other groceries and restaurants. It is also close to the ocean for snorkeling, charters, etc. and beautiful golf courses. The property includes access to a concierge service, Kona Concierge, and David was extremely helpful in setting up adventures and making recommendations. Everything we did was incredible and it was nice to have someone help us make reservations.The only downside was that the kitchen faucet was finicky and didn't always stay on, we reported it and it sounded like they would replace it after our stay. ##### Stephanie D. Me and my friends had a fantastic time! Was a little worried with the no A/C but during the day we were either in the pool or not at home. At night with the windows open and a fan blowing it was great. Driveway was big enough for 2 SUVs The view is absolutely amazing. It was like something out of a movie and we have never seen anything so beautiful before. Just for the view alone would be worth booking this house. The house is stocked with every cooking utensil and appliances you can think of. Met all of our needs. Outdoor grill was very nice spot to hang out while we cooked some steaks and watched some football. Four king beds was perfect for all of us. Pool was amazing and nice and cool. Great way to cool off during the day or at night. The hot tub was very relaxing at night just before bed. Bathrooms were very clean and stocked well. Master bath shower and Jacuzzi were amazing. Didn't know a shower could have so many shower heads! Not sure I can go back to having just one! Only complaint would be that the cold option for the showers would be warm and not cold. Hard to take a cold shower. Not sure if that is a Hawaii thing or the house never having been here before. One other thing would be that the night stands were a little dusty. But that was easy to wipe down with a towel. Otherwise we had a great 8 days here in Hawaii and we can't wait until we are able to come back! :) ##### Thomas S. However house was so hot no AC and only a few fans that were left actually worked. It was difficult to sleep and you had no choice but to leave all windows and doors open. The home is spacious and was perfect for our two families, both with younger age children. Second to the view we really loved the shuffle board! We spent many hours in the hot tub. My only complaint if I could have one, is that the pool is not warm/heated. The home is up in elevation and it’s a bit cooler than at sea level (which is nice after a day at the beach). I realize this is a luxury request and may be relative for many and may vary with the season. I only mention it in case it’s important to someone else too. Pina coladas anyone? Another thing we all loved was the hot tub being warm all the time and the tropical outdoor shower. The kiddos loved the koi pond, waterfalls into the pool, and appreciated pool toys and DVDs. Beds are comfy and there is good separation of space. The most amazing sunsets and 180 degree view of the ocean. The weather was completely different at the home from Kona town. My 10 year old was in the pool non stop and we were outside the majority of the time (bring bug spray for mosquitos!). Home was clean except for some walls (hard to reach) and one of the guest baths had a clump of hair. Floors could use a good scrubbing but I guess that's indoor/outdoor living (shoes are never allowed in homes for us). Neighborhood was quiet except for some construction nearby If I had the option to change things, guests would be able to control the waterfalls - sometimes peace and quiet was preferred. No sunscreen or sitting on the patio furniture wet. That's a silly one! The ability to light the Tiki torches - ambience! Sliding doors are incredibly hard to move. Some don't close all the way (master). I'd also add shower doors - water gets all over the place. The gardeners were incredibly kind, announced themselves first. The garbage collector grabbed the cans for us when we forgot to put them out. Would have preferred the pool cleaners to announce themselves before helping themselves to the backyard with their conversation including f-bombs. They also showed up an additional day which wasn't shared in the guest book. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Praying for the islands and its people during this incredibly difficult time. ##### Victoria P. I get that this happens in Hawaii but there is no excuse for us not being notified that the infestation is that bad. I would have liked the option to stay somewhere else rather than live with the termites and their waste. The main refrigerator and freezer inside the kitchen also does not work which was quite inconvenient. We lost hundreds of dollars worth of food because the refrigerator does not cool to a proper temperature for food. The property manager sending someone over to flip the breaker and declare that it is cooling now was quite inadequate considering the bottom drawers only cooled to 55 and 67 degrees.
