The beautiful tropical gardens with banana trees, exotic flowers and green lawns surround you as you find your way to the Pool, Jacuzzi, and Barbecue area. You may never want to use your car once you settle in because many of the finest restaurants, great dancing and live entertainment are within a short walk. You are also close to shopping, a farmers market, snorkeling, surfing, fishing, and paddle boarding and many other ocean sports. The room has a good size refrigerator and cabinet space for your groceries, but don't over-shop as you are surrounded by great restaurants. You will appreciate the queen size bed both for its comfort and the 8 drawers underneath for your belongings. There is even a space to tuck away your empty suitcase. The sofa has another Queen pullout bed with the latest design for comfort. You will love sitting on the lanai watching the cute colorful birds and sunbathers. A short 2 minute walk will take you to beautiful sunsets and the colorful tourist. It is on the smaller side but utilizes its space optimally. It opens on a pool and barbecue area shared by three other buildings, which gives a community feel to the place. At night tiki torches are lit around the pool lending a Hawaiian ambiance. The location of the property is perfect for those who want to have easy access to retail and restaurants. The bed and bedding were very comfy, the condo was extremely clean, and even the towels were top quality! Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash were also provided, as well as iron, blo dryer, curling iron, etc.. Guest leave behind salt, pepper, various spices, and coffee filters so you probably won't need to buy them, if your planning on barbecuing or make something while there. We even left paper plates and coffee behind. The TV had tons of channels, as well as music channels, for the evenings spent inside. Wi-fi was great as well. They also provide 2 beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, and a cooler for the wonderful beach days! It's a short drive to the harbor but the very best beach for wading, floating, seeing turtles, sandy beach, etc. is there (Honokohau Beach). If you want to Boogie Board or Surf there are lots of other beaches for that too. Right next door to the condos is the Farmers Market. It was a great place to shop for produce, and great souvineers! There are so many restaurants and stores within a 5 minute walk. We loved them all but our favorite restaurants were Kai (1 minute walk) and Brick Oven Pizza (5 minute walk). The host was also wonderful and extremely responsive. It was just renovated with all new furnishings and was very clean and well appointed. It’s located on the first floor with a pool side lanai. It’s walking distance to many restaurants, shopping/farmers market and beach access. My mom and I had a wonderful stay. Thank you Dennis! Brand new remodel, super comfortable bed, central Kona location, quiet with no road noise or adjacent room noise. Right next to the pool and bbq grill. Dennis is a great host and sure to make sure you have a great stay. We enjoyed the brand new beach chairs and towels. We did not have an issue with parking, even if park on the road above, is super close to the room. We really loved all of the dining, shopping, and nightlife options that surround the site.
