It was clean, comfortable and had almost everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The unit had all of the beach gear and most of the cooking utensils we had hoped for. There were plenty of towels for the week and also a washer and dryer as well as detergent to launder our clothing. The view and the patio was the best part of our stay. We would definitely return to this unit on our next stay in Kona. Just a few small housekeeping tips for the owner: the bed is just ok. The foam topper helps rather then a hard bed but a new mattress would be ideal. The tub/ shower stopper was broken so i had to buy a stopper to take baths..also the shower inside curtain had mold. It was just a minor inconvenience. Also just recommend adding oven mits, spoon rest and a hot plate for cooking. The fan in the living room needs to be tightened up as it wobbled and looked like it could become a problem. The location is great, close to town to grab a happy hour bite, close to a small beach if you need to feel the sand in your toes, and great sunsets every night from the lanai! Kona Reef is walking distance from Kona down town to easily try out different restaurants, etc. This particular condo was very nice and right on the ocean. The unit is cozy and the perfect size for two - any more than that and it would be too close for comfort. It's decorated for much older visitors. The pool and its amenities are excellent. The bed is uncomfortable - a 3" foam pad on top of the mattress did not do the trick. The furniture is outdated and could use a pick me up but overall, it really was a nice place and we loved spending our 20th anniversary in Kailua-Kona. ##### Janinne H.
