In het huisje is voldoende informatie om wat te ondernemen. De snelweg hoor je nauwelijks. Aanbeveling om naar Burg Etz te gaan. Vanaf Moselkern is dat goed te doen, het rondje is een wandeling van 13,5 km. Ook Treis Karten heeft een goede Edeka voor de boodschappen. Ook een Italiaans restaurant aan een pleintje. Verder is er een moselsteig, die je kan lopen en terug met de trein. Kortom een mooie bestemming.
