It may take some time for you to find if you drive to the hotel. There are very few parking lots available in the hotel. You may need to park in the parking lots nearby (about 2-3 minutes walking distance). The charge is around 500-600 JPY per night or 100 JPY per 30 mins. The room is clean and spacious. The facilities are in good condition. Washing machine, microwave and electric stove are available inside the room. The washing machine has the function of drying clothes. (takes about 3,5 hours) The room cleaning service is charged but you can ask the staff to change towels and empty the trash can by putting the notice outside the room before 10 am. They provide two choices for breakfast and I chose egg salad sandwich provided with apple juice or vegetable juice (100 JPY if you want to change the drink to coffee). The taste is good but everyday is just the same. The sound proof inside the room is good. There are plenty of electric sockets including USB power supply next to the bed. You can walk to AEON or AMU shopping mall right next to Kagoshima-Chuo station within 15 mins. When we checked in, the hotel asked me to pay for the 2 kids breakfast at a high price. I told them that I had reserved with breakfast through hotels.com but they said the kids breakfast was not included so we had to pay a substantial extra amount. I told hotels.com and after a long, complicated process during our family vacation hotels.com offered to reimburse the breakfast.
