We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Sands! The condo literally overlooked the ocean right behind the wave break. We had a beautiful view during the day, and heard the crashing waves at night! The only suggestion I have is to give direction of the unit location and the office because there was no sign and we did not know where fhe unit was. We have to circle the parking and walk around. But other than that this is difinitelly a repeater and highly suggested. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The place was roomy and comfortable. We arrived after hours ( 1 AM ) so had trouble finding the condo. We were not told the washing machine didn’t work and hadn’t for over a month. We would had to have found laundry facilities elsewhere. We didn’t know where to park so received a towing warning the first day. Garbage under the bed was a bit disturbing but the rest of the unit was very clean. It appeared clean and had all the necessities. The only complaint as far as the condo goes is that there were ants EVERYWHERE. The management company, Chase and Rainbows were not great. We were not told that the washer was not usable, the access code to the pool was not correct therefore we couldn't use the pool, and we were not informed prior to arrival which parking spot was dedicated to the rental, and the form that needs to be displayed in your car was not left for us to fill out. I contacted the management company the day after we arrived, since we arrived late at night. I was told they would offer a discount for their mistakes. 3 weeks later and after several calls they have finally processed the refund. I also had to call prior to my stay to get the code to enter the condo as it was not sent as promised in the emails. The location and condo itself were fine, and worked for us while we were there. It's the hassle with the management company that made the stay less than wonderful. ##### Shannon B. The view was spectacular, especially when we could whale watch from the room and deck every morning. Parking was a little tight at times (mainly because the lot was full), but it was nice having an assigned spot so we weren't scrambling to find parking. The room was clean and spacious. We didn't use the kitchen or dining room much this trip, but would be great if you're coming here with family or friends. We were familiar with the neighborhood and appreciated how easily walkable it is to several grocery stores/markets (Times, ABC) and also lots of restaurants nearby (Papi's Ohana, Bad A\*\* Coffee, Slappy Cakes, and especially the food truck park). ##### Brittney M. This is a very traditional property but the unit was accurately described. The only issue was the electronics, as the TV was very difficult to figure out (I ended up only watching it one day) and despite the fact that we were the first guests to stay in the unit since March (we were there in December), the manager or owner decided to switch out the modem during out stay and we were without internet/WiFi for about a day and a half. That should have been corrected during a period of time when the unit was vacant. Other than that, this rental rates 4.5-5 stars for the price and location. ##### Russell W.
