Unit 308 sleeps up to 4 guests. The bedroom is equipped with king-size bed and the living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space. The bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom and features an updated shower. Enjoy ocean views from your private lanai and close proximity to some of Maui's best beaches. The kitchen has been remodeled with Australian river rock countertops and custom cabinets. Recently, more updates were completed, including the addition of new artwork, mirrors, décor, chair cushions, a brand new bed in the bedroom and a refreshed paint job. The Mahana at Ka'anapali is a well-known upscale resort located at the north end of Ka'anapali Beach. The Mahana is close to the Ka'anapali Resort area and Whalers Village Shopping Center. You will enjoy the convenience of nearby restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and a local grocery store. The sand levels at the beach located in front of the resort can vary depending on the conditions and tides, but there is a sandy entry to the ocean. Please check in with local experts on weather and swimming conditions before entering the water. The resort also features a pool and tennis court on the property. We were surprised at how comfortable the bed was but didn't care for the pillows, which is more a personal preference than a criticism. Unfortunately for us the washer and dryer were not functional during our stay but the property manager made sure we had clean linens and towels.Really, my only complaint was not being notified that they had window maintenance being performed on the building which required they leave a suspended platform hanging from the building all week. Then, when they worked on this units windows they smeared them all up and ruined what was otherwise a great view. Snorkeling is great from this location and we saw sea turtles in the ocean off the lenai daily.I would recommend this unit. ##### John B. My husband & I recently stayed for 4 nights, NO AC, messaged prior to arrival about a portable unit because I came across a recent post from someone else about no air. Was informed there would be a portable unit upon arrival. The air conditioning that was advertised, was the sole reason we booked the specific room.There was not! The room was so hot & so miserable was unable to get any sleep that night. After contacting the manager, she attempted to get a portable AC unit. Which, after maintenance arrival, they told us would not work. We were not able to get another room until the following day, Which during the time of a scheduled group activity my phone was non stop with emails and calls. RUINING that activity. On top of all the hassle, there was nothing refunded. Only the price difference between rooms we had to switch.The condo we were relocated to, had tiles throughout that were loose, and moved around when walking on. There was no hot water in the shower at night. And the shower non stopped dripped. On top of other people’s hair on the shower walls and only 1 towel provided in the room. We also had to listen to the people in the condos above us, dogs barking all night. This was my first trip to Maui, and would NOT stay at this resort again. ##### Samantha M. The condo is a little worn but lovely and quiet. In a well maintained two tower condo building with clean quiet pool and spa. It’s in a gorgeous setting directly on the ocean and it was lovely to listen to the waves and fun to watch the surfers and turtles. We enjoyed all the condo amenities including the pool and having a washer and dryer available in the condo was very much appreciated. The only thing that surprised us was we had to purchase paper products (paper towel and toilet paper) once the small initial supply was depleted. It would have been helpful to include that detail in the VRBO description so we knew that up front. Overall, we had a great time In a gorgeous condo and stunning location. ##### Linda H. The sound of the waves first thing in the morning was absolutely soothing to wake up to. The spectacular sunsets in the evening were unforgettable. The king-sized bed ensures a restful night's sleep amidst the lullaby of the ocean waves. However, the couch bed in the living room fell short in comfort. A small dresser with bookshelves and cozy blankets would have added extra comfort. The kitchen and grills in the courtyard were convenient, but the highlight was Papi Ohana's cinnamon rolls, a short walk away. Ross and Tanner at 808rides provide thrilling moped rentals, right next door to Papi’s. The food truck park out front offers delicious treats without the need for reservations. Everything in the condo worked seamlessly, including laundry facilities. The lanai provided stunning views, perfect for spotting whales and turtles. ##### Lynsie P. Pool and beach are right on the property, with groceries just a short drive away. Quaint Old Lahaina is also a short drive away, in addition to beaches with turtles! The condo itself is a destination: cook dinner in, have cocktails, and enjoy the scenery. One warning: I was disappointed to have the nightly price more than double once all fees were added in. The location to beach was phenomenal. My husband and I listed to the waves as we fell asleep. It was clean, conveniently located, and really felt more like a home than a hotel. I have dietary restrictions so having a full kitchen was a plus. I loved the full window in the living room. The views were breathtaking. My husband is a Penny pincher and totally surprised me when he said we should plan to stay here yearly!! Therefore, we will be back. beautiful experience. The palm trees and ocean view were spectacular and the sunsets amazing. The pool and hot tub were clean and for our stay, not crowded.
