Enjoy breathtaking views of Carson Peak and glimpses of Horsetail Falls from this beautiful, two-bedroom, 2-full bath, family-friendly home complete with upgraded features and a gas fireplace, and just a short drive from area lakes, town, and prime skiing at June Mountain.  
This rental is located near the base of Carson Peak, conveniently close to the June Lake Loop. While you may be driving this 15-mile, scenic route to visit the many glacial lakes and streams in the summer for hiking, horseback riding, trout fishing, and boating, the entire area transforms in the fall when the lower hillsides of the surrounding mountains and the shorelines come alive with vibrant colors. During the winter months, pack up your skis and your snowboards and head over to the June Mountain Ski Area just two miles away, where kids 12 and under are always free! And for shopping and dining throughout the year, take a drive into the friendly community of June Lake only three miles from your front door.  
Back at your cozy home away from home, enjoy views of Carson Peak and the surrounding forests through this rental's many windows. Warm yourself by the gas fireplace in the winter, or whip up anything from a mug of hot cocoa to a full-course dinner in the well-equipped, full kitchen.

My wife, two young sons and I had a wonderful stay on a skiing trip here.  Plenty of room, wide-open kitchen area with everything you'll need to prepare and serve meals and clean up afterward.  Washer and dryer, two baths, comfortable area to get in front of the TV (there's also a DVD player), big dining table, high vaulted wooden ceiling in dining/living room and wooden floors.  Very clean and in great condition.

Our family of 4 (with two young boys) had a wonderful time.  The boys loved the bunk beds and we loved watching them play in the snow through the gorgeous, 2-story windows while we got a chance to catch our breath and relax inside.  Super-close to slopes and town.  Would definitely return!

An airy, spacious house with a nice new kitchen and bathrooms.  Lots of space for relaxing and resting.  Beds are comfortable.  A perfect spot to stay in for a visit.  Only thing was there was no wi-fi, which I hope they provide in the future.

#### Fall vacation part 2

We were looking for a quiet location in the woods with views. The silver meadows cabin did not disappoint! The views from the living area were fantastic. In the morning we got to watch deer, bucks and bunnies in the yard while having coffee. The one thing that was an unfortunate was the construction site next door. It was relatively quiet, but did detract from the ambiance when outside. It would have been nice to have a seating area outside to enjoy the stars and quiet.

#### The area was beautiful I took pictures had problems at different places so the bedding was not cl

The dishwasher was not working so some of the dishes were greasy had to wash nice place just too much money for all the things wrong.I did call the manager about the dishwasher told me no complaints just had to hand wash dishes .

#### The cabin was beautiful but..

The cabin was really clean and the view was breathtaking. There were a few setbacks though. 1) the directions to the cabin were incredibly unclear so we had to call 2) the fireplace did not work and the property management (PM) team knew but it was still listed as an amenity 3) only one of the two house keys worked 4) we didn’t have access to the garage which means we also weren’t able to use the kayak even though both were amenities 5) I messaged the contact through VRBO a week before arrival with some questions and Pam told me to call her (without leaving a number - I had no idea who Pam was and this was my first time using VRBO). I followed up a few times to get a number and nothing. Then I called the the PM number to ask some questions, was given a few answers, and was told I would get a call back on the rest (never did) and 5) the cabin actually has 3 or 4 room but you only have access to 2 rooms and neither were the master. I was confused when I arrived and found that some doors were locked. Yes, the cabin noted 2 rooms but I assumed it was a 2 room cabin- should have been clearer in description. Again, the cabin was beautiful but the above items did take away from the experience. We should have received a discount for the amenities that were advertised and not available. Would we stay in the cabin again? Yes! We just know now what to expect and not expect from the PM team.

The property is beautiful, very clean and close to the slopes, the only downside was that they don’t have WiFi! What year are we in? But everything else was great! Loved it!
