« We had a wonderful and relaxing Memorial weekend getaway with a beautiful view. The home was huge and clean for the most part. The only dirty part was the kitchen drawers other than that everything else was clean. The beds were super comfy and enough space to lounge around. Definitely would go back. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Strawhouse Resort. The property is beautiful, with the cafe and patio along the river. Good pizza and coffee roasted on site. Amazing hospitality from Don, Julia and all the Strawhouse team. We stayed in the yurt. What a fun experience. It was cozy and well appointed. This area along the Trinity River is so beautiful. »

« Loved this property!!! Was a little scary driving down the road at night but once we found the property it was very nice and peaceful! There is a cute town 20 minutes away so not too remote but still away from too many people which was really nice!!! Property was also very clean and communication with host was fast and easy 😁 »

« My husband and I and another couple who live very busy lives, were looking to escape the day to day monotony. This Cabin on the river was so beautiful and relaxing. The cabin was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The deck and outdoor patio were perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. « On arrival the code for the door did not work the host was not available by phone. The house was cold upon entering and it took hours to heat up. 2 of the remotes for the mini splits had dead batteries and did not work. The (bed) in the guest room was a box spring with a mattress topper on it. The bed in the master was old and had a large sunken spot in the middle making it very uncomfortable. There was dog poop in the yard around the fruit trees. Overall we did not have a good stay. »

« This house was so perfect for us! We had six teens in the loft and 2 upstairs bedrooms. They enjoyed having their own space. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs room. I had a couple of questions so I reached out the property manager, Bobbi - she was so helpful, very kind, and welcoming. The house was clean and fit our group very comfortably. « Great trip. The home was well supplied. The host was amazing and very helpful to us all. It is very quiet and clean. It would be good for future renters to know that there are 2 bedrooms downstairs with a bathroom and a loft upstairs with 4 beds and a bathroom. There is no door to close to give you privacy between the 4 beds so it isn't really a 3 bedroom VRBO. It's more like a 2 bedroom home with a large loft.
