"Very warm welcome and nice huts In a really wild part of South Africa. Excellent and generously portioned food. Only downside is the drive to get there; the property is a good hour of dirt track off the main road and the drive is hairy. It should be only recommended for people work a utility or 4wd. "

"That was the worst guesthouse we have experienced in South Africa. We booked this guesthouse in advance due to the fact that we were traveling during peak season. "Nice facility, although it may s quite old, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. There is a wood stove which they provided wood for and it warmed the place up quite nicely. The kitchen could be better stocked if you were to stay there for a few days but it has the basics. I would stay again if in the area."

"We had an amazing stay at The Fernery. What makes this place amazing is the surroundings - overlooking the gorge and forest is nothing short of spectacular. The hot tubs and jacuzzis were incredible and we also made use of the spa which was wonderful too. The ladies there are fantastic. "Needed a place to stay on our journey to Cape Town. Booked here and couldn't have been happier. Convenient location just off the N2 in quaint Storms River Village. Everyone qas super friendly and made us very welcome. Cosy room, quiet, and delicious breakfast. Storms River Village has lots of eating options. We went to Marilyn's where we enjoyed a scrumptious meal. All in all, a great one night stay!"
