Casa Altura Review
This stay was an absolute treat! The property is as described (if not better) with a great view of the Joshua Tree landscape. Cleanliness, amenities, and location were a 10/10. On top of that, the property owner was helpful to share resources of the town and sights to see. They were always responsive with questions before, during, and after the stay and periodically checked in to make sure the stay was up to our liking. Such a great experience and I will definitely be back!

Oasis in Joshua Tree
There is so much to commend about this home. The host is awesome and very accessible but importantly he clearly loves the area and shares awesome recommendations from restaurants to local hikes and so much more. The proximity to Joshua Tree National Park can’t be beat. You might find yourself tempted to just hang back and spend your time in Casa Alturas lounging by the pool… I will recommend Casa Alturas to everyone!

Casa Altura is a dream desert retreat! What a lovely property with an exciting canyon hike available right from the property! Great access to JT park’s west entrance and convenient to JT shops and restaurants. Eddie is a phenomenal host, the home is so comfortable and the kitchen is so well stocked with cookware and basics that you could pretty much cook anything. Great communication with the host and a beautiful property add up to an unforgettable experience. The old school analog stereo was a particular treat! Look forward to coming back!

Fabulous time at Casa Altura!
We spent an amazing week at Casa Altura in Joshua Tree. The house and pool were outstanding. Entrance to Coyote Hole canyon is right up the street and the main entrance to Joshua Tree is 5 minutes away. Eddie was super helpful and super responsive- we listened to all of his vinyl on the new turntable. We will definitely be staying again!

Incredible Stay Minutes from JTNP
Our family of five absolutely loved our stay at Casa Altura! Our host, Eddie, was super communicative and made every aspect of our stay easy and enjoyable. We have stayed in many vacation rentals as a family over the years and this stay is at the top of our list. The beds were very comfortable and the wide open kitchen and living area offered the perfect place to cook, play games and listen to Eddie’s well-stocked record collection- all with the stunning desert hills as a backdrop. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and truly epic stargazing. The proximity to Joshua Tree National Park was ideal for early days spent adventuring before the crowds arrived. Lastly - a little thing that made a big impact - the kitchen was stocked with essential cooking items often missing from other places like a wide array of spices and olive oil as well as coffee and hot cocoa for the kids. We highly recommend this stay and will definitely book Casa Altura again!
