« The house was great, we had 3 families stay there and there was something that everyone enjoyed. There was plenty of seating in the kitchen, living room and sun room to accommodate the large group we had. « Christine is an amazing host. A party of 17 of us visited the house in May 2024, and it was perfect for us. House was very clean, spacious, with lots of extra towels and bedding, A/C, fans, nicely equipped kitchen, gorgeous backyard with lots of space for kids to play, scenic beach access, etc. Our stay was extremely comfortable and we had an amazing time. « Owner was accommodating. Place was clean and nice for the price. The entrance was a little off putting but once you get past that, it was good to go. There is a bar downstairs that plays music into the night and morning but we slept through it. The A/C is very smart so we struggled to keep the temperature comfortable through the night. « Loved the location on the water. It was an amazing sight walking out of the bedroom in the morning and seeing the lake right in front of you! Getting down to the house and back up was not as bad as I expected. They made it the best it could be especially at night with the lighted path and stairs. There were 11 of us total and the house provided LOTS of room and choices for sleeping accommodations! « We came for a long weekend to watch the solar eclipse. Dave's place is exactly as shown in the photographs - a very nice apartment, very clean and updated, and the beds were super comfortable. "On the day of my arrival, the receptionist was rather reluctant to give me any information, being busier eating cream cakes and watching videos on his phone. Also, on my first night, groups of young people gathered in one room and partied until late, preventing me from sleeping the night before an important meeting. But above all, the area around the hotel is devoid of pleasant places to walk to for breakfast, and it was complicated to find where to have breakfast before going to my work meetings downtown. I really wish the hotel had a minimal breakfast service. That said, the hotel is clean, the bedding comfortable, and the other members of staff friendly enough. "
