Restored in 1994, the sign wall is a colorful reminder of the days when sign painters toured the country covering barns and buildings with their handiwork. The firepit was an added bonus to cozy up to on a cool evening. It was also a wonderful spot for our dog, with lots of outside space for him to enjoy. Stayed over the July 4th holiday just my husband and I and our son with our dog to visit family close by. Absolutely amazing property super close to town but feels like it is way out in the country. Yes there is another cabin on the property but there were people staying there at the same time and I never heard or saw them other than a car so it did not bother us. The cabin itself is very new and so incredibly clean. I have very high clean standards and it met them all. Very roomy and comfortable with everything you need. Having hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, some spices, etc was really above and beyond and we were impressed. We have traveled a lot and usually you do not get those items included. You can tell the owners truly care about the property. The modern shower was my favorite part. The shower head was absolute heaven. Its beautiful, new and in a great location. Minutes to the store or restaurants but feels like you're way out in the country. 2nd bed in a loft via spiral staircase, bathroom off the main bedroon, thru the closet/laundry.
