Welcome to The Container Retreat @ 290 Wine Trail! The perfect place to stay as you explore the beautiful Texas Hill Country and its amazing wineries, parks, shops, and people. We are happy to share our special getaway with you and truly hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We have now converted containers #11, #12 & #13 to be dog friendly. They are a bit larger and further away from the other containers, so they are more conducive for a positive experience for all guests. Containers #1 - #10 will continue to only allow our human guests. Dogs must be crate trained and, in the crate, whenever left in the container alone (but let's face it, you’re going to want your dog to be with you as you are out and about). All dogs must be on leash when not in the container and guests are required to pick up all dog waste or be assessed a $50 fee. Please dispose of your doggie bags in the dumpster and not in the container. Our standard fee will be $35 per visit, maximum of two dogs and a maximum weight of 50 pounds each. If you plan to have the dogs on any furniture, please bring your own blanket for them to lay on. The peace and tranquility are amazing, and we are right in the middle of over 50 Texas Hill Country wineries. We have three within walking distance: Blue Lotus Winery and Silver Dollar Winery to the east and Untamed west. So, whether you are looking for a quick getaway or a home base while you attend one of the many festivals and events in the surrounding areas, we are the right choice. Our 40' containers are arranged in pods of four surrounding majestic oak trees and lush landscaping with just enough ambient lighting to make it relaxing and comfortable. If you want to hang out, just walk over to the common area where you will find open space, chairs, a hammock, and our custom Container Retreat cornhole boards. Our mattresses were custom handmade locally from Cantwell Mattress in San Antonio. Our shampoo, conditioner and body wash are made with 100% Pure Morocco Argan Oil and are 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free. In addition, our hand soap is made with essential oils, aloe vera, olive oil, and without parabens, phthalates, or artificial colors. We have provided everything you need in our kitchenette, including a corkscrew and wine pourer to enjoy your Texas Hill Country wine. Couples’ getaway, check! Girl’s weekend, check! Bachelor or Bachelorette parties, check! Whatever the occasion, we are the right choice. I was out walking the dogs after dark and was in awe about how quiet and serene it was. I figured we had to be the only ones at Container Retreat, but then noticed that the resort was to capacity.
