Newark Ave, a pedestrian-only walking street, is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops. 3 blocks away is Van Vorst Park, with lawns, playgrounds, a gazebo, and the occasional farmers market. The size of the home and the location were absolutely perfect. It was about a 10 minute walk to the PATH station to get into the city. There are also numerous stores and restaurants within a block or two of the home, making it extremely convenient. There are 2 separate bedrooms with en suites as well as a 3rd full bath on the main level. I didn’t realize that the apartment included 3 full baths, so this was a lovely surprise. There is a very nice outdoor space on the backside of the unit which was truly lovely. Also. As an FYI this property is the garden apartment, not the apartment with stairs leading up to it. I would have given the property 5 stars but there were a few items that need to be addressed before I would give a 5 star review. 1\. Minimal towels were provided. 1 bath towel per person. We requested a few more towels but the management was unable to provide them. So we ended up washing and rewashing our towels almost every day. 2\. The washing machine needs to be deep cleaned. It was rather funky. 3\. The mattresses are on the firm to very firm side. We ended up purchasing some mattress toppers to help soften the beds. The pullout was also extremely uncomfortable. 4\. There were multiple cabinets on the kitchen that were broken. One upper cabinet door fell off the hinges when we opened it to retrieve a plate. The door almost hit my mom in the head. Overall it was a great property but it needs some attention ##### Ashtyn J.
