The building, is in the heart of the historical part of Jerez, situated on the same street as the famed flamenco museum. All the sights, Bodegas, Peña flamenco and shops, including the wonderful food market, are just a few minutes stroll away. Please note: the apartment is on the first floor, with two flight of stairs due to the height of the ceiling. The en-suite bedroom has the open stairs as on the photo., hence not recommended for anyone with a mobility issue. We've had many very successful longer stays, some for several months at the time. This open-plan, loft style apartment is best for a couple, should you decide to work from there, allowing perfect individual privacy for those work calls. Jerez is is a great city, both for work and play. Included in the price, is our parking space in the underground garage next door, very important in the old town! We 're well connected by train to visit Seville + Cadiz or arrive from Madrid. Jerez airport is 20 mins. drive, Gibraltar and Seville are about 80 mins. drive. We can organise for you to be collected at any of the 3 airports, please ask for the fee. Our 104m2 apartment is peaceful and sunny, away from the street, facing south-west with views across the old town and to the vineyards beyond. This loft-style conversion makes full use of it’s 5 meter high ceilings resulting in a beautifully spacious apartment with an abundance of light. The en-suite upper bedroom with king sized bed can also be made up as two singles, if required and on request. The en-suite bathroom is "petite" but cute with a Hydro-Shower, a sink and toilet. The views over the roofs to the cathedral & Alcazar are spectacular, the morning mist in the distance or the sunsets adding to the drama. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed, a writing desk, wardrobe, small library, using the beautiful Philipe Stark equipped bathroom with its large bathtub (shower-over) sink and toilet. Children: Suitable only for Children over the ages of 10 or babies up to crawling age . We offer a cot & highchair. The living/dining area is luminous and spacious with comfortable leather settees. The Smart TV offers Spanish TV with all films/documentaries in original language, Netflix and I-player with most UK channels. Apple TV can also be used to connect to your mobile devices. Bose speakers connect via bluetooth to your phone, iPad or computer, for you to enjoy your own music and feel completely at home!p We have Fibre Optic installed offering up to 600MB. We also offer a work station with a printer. The German fitted kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could need to make best use of the delicious local produce. Efficient air conditioning/heat exchange keeps the apartment cool in Summer and warm in Winter. All spices, virgin oil and vinegar, coffee, tea and other dry foods are in the kitchen. This allows for easy living/dining, we're so close to that wonderful vegetable/fish market. Jerez is a city to enjoy at a leisurely pace, stopping here and there for a Fino or Oloroso, with a little bite of something delicious. There are so many open air eateries and fine dining restaurants in the neighbourhood! The month of December is very festive, Zambombas echo in the streets. These happy gathering reflect the spirit of Jerez.; Joy of life, good company, playing, singing and dancing together. Jerez is part of the Sherry triangle, with Sanlúcar de Barameda and Puerto Santa Maria. All 3 towns have many Bodegas, the choice is yours. You can either visit these towns by car, making use of our private parking space, or by public transport. Cadiz is a 30 mins train ride or less in the car. Seville is about an hours ride. The white villages are nearby, you'd be spoilt for choice. La cuisine qui l'équipe est complète et ergonomique. L'environnement est très très calme, ce qui en fait l'endroit idéal pour des vacances en famille. En outre, comme il est situé dans une rue toute proche de ce que je qualifierai de " vieux centre ville", il est possible de presque tout faire à pied sur la commune de Jerez de la Frontera, ce qui est très appréciable. You cannot beat the location. Very close to restaurants and shops. Also close to several attractions in the old centre. A little tricky getting to the place in a car but the hosts helped with directions and pictures. There is even underground parking which is great but you must have a small car. The apartment is comfortable and so are the beds. There was a noisy dog as you come into the courtyard but he stops barking quick enough. One upstairs neighbour some nights would have their tv on way too loud from 9:30 to 11:30\. The apartment could have been a little cleaner when we arrived. We had to do a little cleaning on our own. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. And Alice and Jim could not have been nicer or more helpful with directions and assistance. It is beautifully decorated and has everything a guest would need. We spent a week here exploring Jerez and the surrounding area. It was so nice to return at the end of the day to a space that felt more like a friend's apartment than a Vrbo stay. The kitchen is superbly stocked with cooking utensils, cooking basics and appliances. The beds are super comfortable, the shower is great and a deep soaker tub was an added bonus. It's close to the action in the old town. You'll love its proximity to excellent restaurants, cafés and shops. Such a great place! ##### Leslie M. A clean, tastefully decorated open plan apartment with a good kitchen and two bedrooms. The apartment is a short walk from all the main restaurants and bars in Jerez. My spouse and I stayed for a month in Jerez in this wonderful apartment during the lively Zambomba-filled Christmas season. I don’t think we could have found a better place for our needs given its good location in the centro historico, the interior layout, and how well-equipped it is. The owners are great people and were caring and very responsive to all our questions and requests throughout our stay. We ended up not wanting to leave when the time came to depart! The only thing that could have made it better would have been deck off the living area or off the second floor bedroom to soak up some of the warm Andalucian winter sun But the large windows brought in ample sunlight most days, and we spent lots of time outside in Jerez and further afield in western Andalucia on a few day and overnight trips so really didn’t need that anyway. Jerez is truly a gem and the heart of authentic Andalucia with its lively Tabanco and Flamenco culture and venues. If you want to experience that, stay at Alice and Jim’s place for at least a few days— you won’t regret it! ##### Stephen K. Die sehr geschmackvolle Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Küche ist optimal ausgestattet, so dass das Kochen richtig Spaß gemacht hat, zumal die Markthalle in Jerez ein Paradies ist. Alles ist großzügig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Wohnung liegt sehr günstig, in einer ruhigen Straße, in nur 3 min ist man auch schon auf einem der einladenden Plätze mit Cafés und Tabancos, herrlich. Jerez ist immer eine Reise wert, das Meer ist schnell zu erreichen und Ausflüge die weißen Dörfer sind ein Erlebnis.Hier will man länger bleiben. Herzlichen Dank an die Gastgeber. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful week staying at your apartment in Jerez. It truly is a fantastic space with everything we needed as a base for our time in the city. The apartment felt more like home each time we returned back from our sightseeing. It’s clear that your flair for the arts and design has played a big part in the architecture of the apartment and we particularly liked the fact that Jim’s art was a feature of the decor - a very talented man indeed. Spotlessly clean, very secure, very private and quiet, and also perfectly located - less than a 20 minute walk to pretty much everything there is to see in Jerez. Your recommendations were also appreciated and enjoyed - we took the train to Puerta Santa Maria and then boat to Cádiz (indeed a great way to enter the city), we ate at Arbores (fabulous food) and also at the Fundador restaurant (also fabulous) and equally enjoyed buying fresh fish and vegetables from the market to cook in the apartment. Wonderful apartment with everything you could possibly need for an amazing time in Jerez. Decorated to perfection, very comfortable bed, great shower, nice kitchen it was like being home.
