Relax and rewind in this Oceanfront retreat... This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom professionally decorated Cottage will have you on beach time within minutes. You enter this home through a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with Kitchen Aid appliances, a Mr. Coffee machine, and a bar top with seating for four. The kitchen flows into the dining area, where you will find an oversized table with seating for eight. The first floor is home to a cozy living area with ample seating and a peaceful master suite, as well as access to the first-floor furnished screened-in porch. Finishing off the first floor is a one-car garage, powder room, and stackable full-size washer and dryer. On the second floor, you will find a quaint sitting area and a 4th bedroom with a twin bed and trundle. The second floor also houses two guest bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, and access to the second-floor balcony. The balcony boasts cozy lounge seating for a large group to enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets. This home comfortably sleeps 8 and comes equipped with a gas grill, high chair, pack-n-play, smart TVs, beach/lounge chairs,beach towels, 2 bicycles unbeatable views. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access, and a community fire pit. Single Car Garage, 3 parking spaces including garage.- No trailers of any kind allowed. Linens included. Other amenities include: 2 adult bikes Gas grill Outdoor patio table/chairs and lounge chairs (w ocean views!) High chair and pack-n-play, upon request Beach chairs, toys and beach towels In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, beach deck, beach access and a community fire pit. NO SMOKING NO PETS If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund. THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS: The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn. You may view all Jekyll Beaches by visiting the Jekyll Island website under the Beaches tab. The home had all the equipment needed. It is a great location and a lovely view of the ocean. This home is very near a path that goes to the sand in front of the seawall. The unit was very clean however there were some scuffs on the wall in one guest room and the tv has clearly been removed from the other guest room with holes in the wall. Other than that the place is located perfectly. You are right on the beach with great views and a short walk to the pool. We enjoyed the bikes and chairs that were included. The only real gripe I have is there is only two dishwasher tabs included and a limited supply of TP and paper towels. For what it costs, I felt they could have supplied enough for a week’s stay. You will need to grab more for sure. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Jekyll. ##### David C. The house is well-appointed, thoughtfully supplied. The beds and furniture were clean and comfortable. The property manager communicated very well. In all of the ups and downs I have had in renting beach property over the years, this was certainly a high. That was the first tricky thing since we arrived late evening/night and were confused by the 262 address but “Cottage 104” listing address, plus it was difficult to see the numbers late at night. HOWEVER, once we got in everything was amazing and great and perfect for what we needed. We loved the ocean views and sounds and the balcony access that were just perfect. Overall, a few comforters had some stains on them but otherwise the rest were clean throughout the entire home, including fridge, coffee makers, and bathrooms. Locale was perfect for all we wanted to do and the style was ideal for all 4 people in the house to feel relaxed and peaceful amongst our race jitters. ;) Overall an amazing place.
