Why not try Sunset Cove - a waterfront lake house with soothing decor, cozy living and dining areas, and comfortable beds. Sunset Cove will be your next restful getaway to the Lake O' the Pines area. Your experience at the Sunset Cove is enhanced with a hot tub on the back patio, a nice outdoor fire pit in the backyard and an outdoor sectional seating area offered on the uncovered back deck overlooking the beautiful pines and lake, which makes for the perfect spot to relax and observe the beautiful sunsets and wildlife native to our area. You will enjoy a relaxing time in front of a roaring fire in the living room fireplace. If you like to fish, a public boat ramp is conveniently located less than a mile away. If you like to read, play games, or watch DVDs/videos, there is a large selection of these in Sunset Cove. This lake house is equipped with everything you need. So why not plan your trip today? Escape to Sunset Cove and rest for awhile. Location & Sleeping Arrangement Sunset Cove sits on half an acre of moderately wooded land and is located in the beautiful Crystal Cove area on the south side of Lake O’ the Pines. This lake house is not secluded, however it is laid out to allow a lot of privacy. Sunset Cove has a driveway from the street to the rear of the lakehouse. There is also a parking space along the street which will accommodate most boats/trailers. This location is 25 minutes from historic Jefferson for antiques, museums, boat rides, train rides, romantic horse drawn carriages, and wonderful restaurants. Casinos and entertainment are about an hour away in Shreveport, LA. The 2,000 sq ft lake house offers 2 King bedrooms with en suite (one on upper level, one on lower level), 1 Double Queen bedroom (on upper level) and 3 total baths with sleeping for up to 8 guests. There is also a 350 sq ft of deck space. Lakehouse Amenities Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and fridge. Standard and Kuerig Coffee Makers (coffee and k cups are not included. Earl’s place was absolutely perfect for our needs. Our host was very communicative and provided detailed instructions for check in/out. The home is beautifully decorated, comfy beds and couches, well stocked kitchen, and nice touches like game boards, cornhole, etc.Water access was easy with unobstructed views and gorgeous sunsets. The chairs around the fire pit allowed for relaxing outside near the water and watching the deer that came around a few times. WiFi worked ok but never really had enough service for much of anything. I would suggest bringing mosquito spray even into fall/winter since the weather is so mild. We would 100% stay here again! ##### Kim P. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Communication with host was very easy and fast response! Easiest check in and out. House had everything we needed and more. Super clean and very comfortable beds. The house overall was beautiful and had the best sunsets we have seen even better than our Monterey bay sunsets. The kids couldn’t stay out of the water and had the best time fishing. Also the neighbors are so welcoming and nice their grandson and my kids became good friends! I would recommend this house to everyone because you will not be disappointed. My family (my husband, myself, 5 YO and 3 YO) stayed upstairs with plenty of room and my in-laws stayed in the downstairs room. It’s an older home updated but we were comfortable. Everything worked. It was easy to get in and out and the view is beautiful! If we’re ever back in the area, we would stay here again. ##### Casey B. You can really tell the house is set up with care, we got proactive texts from the owner letting us know about a power issue before we even realized there was an issue. Low traffic in the area, both on the water and the road. We were glad the weather cooperated on the final evening to give us a clear view of the sunset over the water. ##### Bud W. This home was one of the best equipped we have ever stayed at. They have it all far exceeding expectations. The communication is fast, easy. Allot of thought has to went into all the little things. If your going to the Pines this is your place. We were in town for bass tournament. The neighbor had an extension cord ready for us and urged us to use it for which we did.
