We made an escape from our lives for a night before my nephew’s fishing tournament on Lake O the Pines (a beautiful lake everyone needs to visit!) The house was small and perfect! We couldn’t do any star gazing because of the over cast but we did enjoy the outdoor area! Downtown Jefferson is an amazing place to visit as well! Had all the basics of home. We loved just sitting on the porch at night and walked the property for exercise. We were happy driving the country roads and seeing wildlife. We took in Gladewater, Marshall, Jefferson and a 2 hour boat ride on Caddo Lake with the Ole Jigger. Fantastic weekend, close to everything we wanted to do and see.
