A bit off the beaten path, but it was so worth the drive from Somerset where we were visiting family. As we entered the schoolhouse doors, we were greeted by our lovely host, Denise, and given a quick history and tour. The furnishings and decor are lovely. They have thought of everything- a kitchen with everything you need - for me that was a coffee maker and snacks - in what was once an office. As we went to our ‘ classroom’ we loved the antique furnishings and collections. Our room was furnished beautifully with a well appointed bathroom. The concrete school house walls and heavy doors ensured a very quiet visit. It was a unique experience, sleeping in a schoolhouse- and we plan to make it our go to when visiting family. Denise welcomed us to walk the grounds and explore as much as we wanted. Everything you need and at a great price! What’s not to love! ##### Jan H.
