Bridlepath Lake Resort is a 2,200 Sqft. completely renovated retreat home on the Lake. A secluded gem with 110 feet of private lakefront and sand beach situated on Chautauqua Lake in Bemus Point, NY. Private and peaceful, yet within walking distance to all of the excitement (shop, dine, golf, etc.) of Bemus Point Village. With its brand new updated coastal beach design, your Chautauqua Lake experience will be like no other. Large lawns in the front (lakeside) and back of the house. Fire pit near the Lake. Long, private pier with a 12 x 20' platform at the end to enjoy lake life, sunsets, etc. Up to two boats can be tied to posts next to the dock. Large common areas (kitchen, living room, sunroom, porch and patio) to enjoy. Patio is steps from the fully stocked kitchen and living room, faces the Lake and comes with a gas grill and comfortable outdoor furniture.

We transformed an original 1930’s cottage/1960’s outdated addition into a stunning all-season lake/beach encounter. Our property is not only secluded (end of a private road) providing a peaceful experience, we're also short walk or minute drive to charming Bemus Point Village--the best of both worlds!

Our open-floor plan home and grounds includes:
- new appliances,
- central air-conditioning,
- heating system (base board/boiler heating)

- boat dock (12x20' platform)
- all new landscaping

We enjoyed a wonderful time and the very comfortable accommodations. Thank you for sharing your home - super clean, and everything was just as described. We stayed 4 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday with our son, daughter in-law, and 2 grandsons and it worked out great. Although weather brought a winter storm and about 4 inches of snow, we still had a nice relaxing time and would love to return in the summertime with our boat. The area looks like a very fun place in the warmer seasons. This was a successful trip because the home worked out so well. Thanks again.

The house was immaculate during our stay and we appreciated the amenities and the bottle of Prosecco the host left to welcome us. Our only recommendation would be some wine glasses (we spent some time at the local wineries). Otheriwse, thanks for being a great host!

It was a wonderful home away from home. It was very clean and had many kitchen appliances for making food that any group might need. The bedrooms were comfortable and were very restful. It was rainy during our stay, and we were still able to enjoy the lake from the many windows in the home. The indoor furniture allowed for a variety of seating arrangements for games and visiting.

Excellent location. Extremely clean. Secluded for privacy. Spacious home to allow for privacy if needed. Host provided small amenities, linens, towels, soap, shampoo etc. which added to our comfort. Home is beautifully remodeled as we look at pics before the updates. A very pleasant stay.

I really enjoyed Chautauqua Lake and the surrounding area/neighborhood. I hadn’t been to the area since I was a child in the mid to late ‘70’s. This home is in a beautiful location and is well kept. We enjoyed the amenities, the seclusion and proximity to town. The driveway is long and narrow, I made the mistake of pulling in “headfirst” with my boat in tow. There is no real “turn around” once you reach the beautiful home. Now granted I drive a full size 4 door pickup with an 8’ bed and was towing a 25’ center console fishing boat. Once launching the boat at a very convenient and nearby launch, I had to back the truck and empty trailer down the narrow and curvy driveway to store the trailer for the duration of my stay. It’s a task NOT for the faint of heart. I’m not complaining by any stretch, I’d do it all over again….(I may have asked more questions or mentioned the size of the boat I was bringing prior to arrival) The home was clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful time. Visit Guppy’s for a great meal and a super staff if you get the chance.

Wonderful home on Lake Chautauqua!! Perfect location right on the water and very spacious interior! The grandkids loved playing in the expansive yard, fishing from the dock, and going into the nearby village for delicious dinners! We all had a fantastic time and it was just perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. Close to the Chautauqua institute, and easy access to boat rentals in bemus point. The comfortable home was extremely well equipped with everything you could need. The beautiful lake decor and games and puzzles provided made it a very cheerful space for all to enjoy The large rooms and extensive patio furniture made it very accommodating for all. Our favorite times were sitting by the large fire pit admiring the beautiful stars! We made unforgettable memories with our grandkids!! Thank you!

Exactly what we needed. The privacy of this property really gives you the ultimate vacation experience. Great layout, updated appliances, well stocked, well-kept grounds and dock. The owners were very responsive to our questions and pleasant to work with. We had 10 people ages 13 - 75 and it worked well for everyone.

Great location!

This is located right on Chautauqua Lake. There is a large yard and a dock. The house was exactly as described. Everything was clean, organized and by far the best stocked rental I have ever been to! Would love to come back again with my family!

Our family had more fun at this cottage.. The place itself was wonderful. Very clean, nice flow and very comfortable..we will definitely be back next year for a stay. The best part for us was the fishing right off the dock was just amazing. Dock was big and sturdy with a great variety of fish .We highly recommend this place.
