"We stayed for two nights in August, we were there for a Great Barrier Reef tour, so didn’t spend much time in the hotel itself or using the amenities. We got an uber from the airport, there were taxis and Ubers available quite readily. Staff were beyond helpful and friendly on arrival, a real credit to the hotel. We arrive at around 10am and the room was ready and they gave us the key, they said they upgraded us, but I couldn’t tell what the difference was? The room size maybe? We were ground floor by the pool, and people could see in the doors from their loungers. You can also hire ‘beach towels’ ($5) but I would argue the size of them was questionable for that! The room was very clean and large but felt dated. It suited what we needed it for however, but if we were there longer I think that we would have been disappointed. Very close to the beach, a selection of restaurants and a corner shop for essentials, the staff told us how to get to the shops via bus, so we got some supplies. There is a tv in the room, plus some kitchen equipment which was helpful, we only used the fridge however. I did have to move the temperature of that to cold when we arrived, as someone had it running on its highest, which was close to warm, so check that when you arrive. Would we stay again - yes, it was value for money, but only if it were for a couple of days. The hotel is well located, the beach is beautiful and the grounds seemed well maintained."

"The complex is in a great location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. Good access to highway for exploring the wider region. Ideal for families. Apartment was nice, spacious with modern appliances, comfortable lounge area and balcony, bathrooms were a little tired but had been recently decorated. Complex is well maintained with nice garden areas and pool, secure underground parking with easy access was good"

"Beautiful neat house and wonderful clear communication with owner. Bedrooms were excellent, and a good size. Kitchen living area was spacious and beautifully designed.Pool was the best. Highly recommend this property to anybody wanting to stay in Trinity Beach"

"Marina Waterfront was perfect for our stay in Cairns. There was plenty of room inside and out. Really happy about the secure parking behind a gate for our 4WD's. The outdoor area was fantastic, plenty of seating with a lovely view of the pool and marina. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware, plates, utensils and pots and pans. Nice touches like condiments, coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper was appreciated, also the mozzie spay and candles. Washing machine and perfect undercover clothes line was also a bonus. Thanks for washing machine tabs :) Beds were comfy and the house was beautifully presented, clean and very tidy. It was a real pleasure to stay in a property so thoughtfully put together. We hope we can come back again soon."

"Our stay here was everything we needed. As a family with three young children (5yo, 3yo and 1 yo) we needed space for naps and quiet time and a generous kitchen for food prep with washer dryer facilities and this placed ticked all those boxes. Attention had been paid to various aspects of baby proofing (ie oven guard and some socket guards) which was a plus for us. The team were also helpful with having the cot and high chair set up for our arrival.The pool is not large but was again perfect for our needs of swimming with younger children with a nice long and wide edge step for them to play on. It was also very safely fenced.The place was very neat and tidy with a lovely living dining area. We hired a car as it was not centrally located but that was part of the appeal for us. It was a nice quiet neighbourhood that felt safe and secure walking around with the little children. It was about a 5 minute drive to to local supermarkets.I’m sure people without kids would love it too, but for us it suited our needs perfectly"

"Beautiful house that suited our group. We had a lovely time and particularly enjoyed the pool and tennis court. One thing, the bedding configuration section advertised that one of the living rooms had couches that made 4 beds. In reality, one living room had 2 couches and the other had 2 couches. This was problematic for us as we were expecting to put three teenage girls together."

"We had a fantastic stay at Mountain Breeze Retreat. The home is beautifully designed with gorgeous furnishings, stunning views, cool breezes and a well‑equipped kitchen. Everything was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and the pool was a standout — crystal clear, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The hosts were wonderfully friendly, gracious and helpful when needed, and their sweet little poodle made the stay even more special. We’d return in a heartbeat!"
