It’s a cozy well equipped bungalow just minutes from all the main attractions of downtown, San Marco, Riverside, and Avondale. The big backyard is perfect for your pets. Wonderful coffee shops and restaurants close by. All kitchen items needed for cooking provided by host. Bathrooms stocked with shampoos, conditioners, bath products and more. Will be available 24/7 through the Airbnb app. San Marco is a neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida, south of Downtown across the St. Johns River. The neighborhood was formerly the independent city of South Jacksonville until it was annexed by Jacksonville in 1932\. The neighborhood is primarily residential, with an integrated commercial sector known as San Marco Square. Guest will have full access to the house. Nestled within the charming San Marco district, our abode is centered around the vibrant San Marco Square, where a canopy of leafy trees shelters an eclectic mix of boutique shops and laid-back dining spots. This locale is a true delight, offering everything from leisurely brunch spots to pizzerias and ice cream parlors, all contributing to the lively atmosphere. Accommodating up to 5 guests, our inviting home boasts a well-equipped kitchen featuring a fridge with a freezer, a microwave, along with an assortment of dishes and silverware, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Rest assured, all essential linens and towels are provided. Entertainment is at your fingertips with inclusive WiFi and a flat screen TV, complemented by streaming services like Netflix and Hulu for your viewing pleasure. Refund Policy A 3.9% processing fee on refunds is non-refundable. Refunds will be the amount paid minus this fee, per Stripe's policy. Bringing a pet without prior notification incurs an additional $100 fee, and we may end your stay early. No cats allowed. If your pet causes any damages, additional charges will incur to cover repair or cleaning costs. ●Age Requirement: Primary guest must be 21+, with an adult over 21 present during the stay. Upon arriving at the house, we discovered that it was not yet ready for our family to settle in. There was ongoing construction work. We promptly contacted the owners, and we were grateful that they were able to relocate us. Although the house was 20 minutes further north than we had anticipated, we appreciated the prompt resolution. Property as described and located in older, established, quiet, neighborhood. We had the feeling we were in the country, but in reality were just a few blocks from the center of downtown. The home and yard are as pictured and described and very clean. The weather was cool - 45 - 60 degrees and cloudy. The house is older so not as insulated as newer homes, but the central heat works very well. We were very comfortable as we could adjust the thermostat to keep us warm and cozy. The only concerning issue we had is that the sofa in the living room is broken. My husband sat on it and immediately and abruptly the cushion and he sank to the floor. We jnformed the owner of this and had another question about the property, but we didn’t receive a response for more than 24 jours. After I messaged him again he again began to respond promptly. Our stay was nice and we had mostly everything we needed. There is no washer or dryer on the property. This wasn’t a deal breaker for us as we have family in the area and did our laundry at their home. It’s just a bit inconvenient to lug it around. We enjoyed the fenced backyard. The hosts were very attentive. A little tired in some parts of the house such as the bathroom. Not necessarily a downfall on the house itself but renting from the uk and not having been to America / Jacksonville before it was a shame we couldn’t walk to anything. San Marco was a drive so that was a shame as we love to walk. Owners were living in the garage whilst we were in the house which made us feel uneasy especially as work in the garden was taking place whilst we were out. ##### NAomi W.
