The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Nobody was there to check us in when we arrived at 4:50 pm. No note or anything, even though I had emailed our arrival time, which was within their normal hours. The hostess showed up about 10 min later, a little blasé. No happy hour snacks as advertised on their own website, and no explanation of why not. Just wine or beer, which were plentiful.
