The first floor smelled like animal pee. When we got to our room there was blood on the wall and a roach on the bed. When we first called about changing rooms they acted like there was no availability and to find another hotel. We couldn’t find another hotel, so we called back down to see if a room change was possible and suddenly it was. They had us email pictures of the blood and bug in order to have the room changed. The second room was much better, but smelled like a previous guest smoked in there and it was covered up with febreze.

We booked one night for a concert in Jacksonville. We were able to check in a couple of hours early which was a great start. The elevator didn’t work so we used the stairs to reach the second floor. The smell walking down the hallway was terrible. It was like an old dirty smell. The room wasn’t as bad but it still had an odour. There wasn’t a clock and the hairdryer was missing, although they brought me one when I called the front desk. The bed was comfortable so i guess that’s something. I couldn’t get past the smell though. It made everything feel dirty. I’d never stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However elevator was down for maintenance, though we selected breakfast to be included, the amenity was not at this property. Remote to any dining or convenience stores.
