Let us extend our Golf Club of Amelia Island membership to you during your stay which provides Access to Oceanfront Pool, exercise room, private award winning golf course, and tennis courts that most other condos do not offer. Summer Beach is located on beautiful Amelia Island which boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and golf courses in Florida. Sailmaker at Summer Beach is one of the most beautiful properties on the island and is located in the exclusive gated community of Summer Beach Resort right down the road from the world-renowned Ritz Carlton Amelia Island hotel and Spa. At the Ritz, you may indulge in fine dining, spa treatments, and golf. This beautiful 2 bedroom 2.5 bath condo is located directly on the beach and provides spectacular views and incredible sun rises. This modern luxury condo was completely renovated in fall of 2016 which included new paint, new kitchen with quartz countertops, furniture, media, new ceiling fans, all new bathrooms, carpet, appliances, plush bedding, etc. Our condo truly does feel like a second home rather than 'rental condo', because we want our guest to feel like they are at home. Sleep while listening to the crashing waves. Then arise in the morning to the most beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. You can sit out on the deck, while having your morning coffee watch the dolphins playing and the turtles living on the dunes.. In downtown Fernandina, you will find the oldest seaport in the U.S. which has a rich heritage and has been under eight different flags. Leisurely take time to stroll around downtown, especially at night among the lighted trees and visit the quaint shops and wonderful restaurants. Additionally, there are Jet Ski, parasails, and inland/offshore fishing charters available for hire. A short ferry ride can take you to beautiful Cumberland Island, the only national sea shore on the East Coast. When it comes to meal time, the kitchen offers every convenience. All new appliances include refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All the appliances of home are available -- a coffee maker, toaster, and all of your gourmet needs. The spacious master bedroom is privately located with views of the Atlantic. It boasts a King-size bed, 40” flat-screen TV, and large closet. Having so much excitement walking in, it was apparent the maid had not completed her job and left items undone and not communicated issues to the property owner. The dryer needs to run a little longer then the sensor and it was evident all the towels set out for us were still a little damp and some were left in the dryer which we found after arrival. As such we had to wash them all again. We also had a few other issues one that limited our ability to use the shower for a day due to the shower door which is tough for a family of 6 at the beach to only have one shower and another issue was a main light out in the kitchen which made it dark in the cooking area.Having said that we were able to communicate with Victoria to get the main items including the light and shower taken care of within 24 hrs. Those first 24hrs were unfortunately not vacation mode as we had to rewash linens, couldn’t use the shower, and be available for the repair worker which kept us from the beach. However I will say I have full confidence that if Victoria had been made aware of these issues prior to our arrival she would have taken care of them. Communication between the maid and owner would have prevented this.The views are incredible and easy access to the beach make this a prime location. The access to the beach club was also much appreciated. It is right next door.The place itself is nice and there are two nice chairs and a wagon kept inside for beach trips. ##### David D.
