Must be completely house-trained or kept in a kennel when left alone. Our beach communities are incredibly welcoming to animals. Due to our wonderful weather most of the year, you can easily take your furry friend to many restaurants or bars with outdoor seating available, and they will provide them with water and head pats. A POOL SAFETY FENCE for the in-ground pool is available upon request before check-in. POOL HEATERS: Pool heaters are turned off from 5/15 to 9/15 as the pool temperatures are at or well above the 85 degree threshold. To request that the pools be heated between 9/15 - 5/15, contact management 72 hours before your arrival. Pools will not be heated for last minute bookings. The pool heaters heat the pools to 85 degrees. When we experience lows below 45 degrees, the heaters will not be able to reach a comfortable temperature for swimming. We stayed at this lovely, spacious home, needing a place near Atlantic Beach for a family reunion. It was perfect for the 7 of us! It’s location was close to the beach, beautiful new park that was loved by my 2 year old granddaughter , and stores and restaurants. We stayed a week and every day was perfect. Between the pool, beach, play area with the playhouse, and game room, everyone was always busy and well entertained. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and even the bathrooms were well stocked with towels and shampoo, soap, etc. Our hosts were highly responsive to our questions but never intrusive. The neighborhood was pretty quiet at night. The king size mattress in the huge master BR was firm and very comfortable. The kitchen was large, modern, and well-equipped. The number of stairs to the 3rd floor master BR was a bit daunting, and there are also stairs from the main living area to the pool. The pool was a decent size and reasonably warm, not entirely private; there really should be handrails to help get in and out. The motorized awning over the patio outside the living area wasn't working, which was disappointing. The seemingly short distance to the beach is complicated by the need to cross a very busy multi-lane road. The house was well equipped for beach activities and basic household supplies. The open concept of the living space was ideal for a group of our size (8). The pool wasn't heated when we arrived but that issue was corrected quickly when we reported it. The pool was a feature enjoyed by all. Kitchen with spacious counter was appreciated. It's located in a nice neighborhood and close to the grocery store and restaurants. Check-in process was easy. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! It's 5 blocks from the beach however there is a busy road to cross to get there. It's walkable, but easier to drive especially with small kids. Good restaurants nearby for Uber Eats as well. Very beautiful home-everything worked, comfortable beds, plenty of dishes, towels, etc and a surprise gaming area in the garage.
