With its proximity to the beach and newly remodeled interior, our charming beach cottage is sure to exceed every expectation. Guests often comment on how clean, beautiful, and well-equipped our cottage is. They also love that they can bring their pets! Our booking availability is as follows: Weekly from Saturday to Saturday during April to October. Nightly with a 4 night minimum stay during November to December. Exceptions: Thanksgiving and Christmas are weekly Saturday to Saturday. Maximum number of guests is 4\. Being just across the street from beach access #10 makes it so convenient for swimming, sunbathing, and all kinds of fun beach activities. Whether it's lounging in the sun or taking a peaceful walk along the shore, this location is ideal for anyone who loves being close to the ocean. Along with the easy beach access you get a stunning sunrise view. You can see the water from the master bedroom and the large, gated deck from the living room. The deck has 2 Adirondack-style chairs and a patio set perfect for both lounging and dining outdoors. If you need to rinse off after the beach, the private outdoor shower is an unexpected convenience. If you would like to bring your pet please contact us so we can get information and approve your pet. We have pet bowls, pet towels, and a large kennel available for your use. There is a daily fee of $20 per pet. Also, we require your pet(s) to be on flea preventative and up to date on vaccinations. Close by is public access to the Atlantic Recreation Center with a swimming pool, splash park, fitness center, and a wonderful kids playground. There is also a movie theater 15 minutes away. If you're looking for restaurants, live music, or other entertainment, downtown Fernandina is a short 2 1/2 mile drive from the cottage. We've equipped the cottage with lots of beach essentials including coolers, beach chairs, body boards, and more. We have 2 bikes available to rent for an additional $50 per stay. Inside, you'll find a lot to love. The cottage was recently remodeled, and everything is extremely new and clean. The kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops, all new stainless steel appliances, a large pantry, and everything you need to prepare fabulous meals in the comfort of your very own beach cottage. The living area is equally inviting and includes a 42-inch flat screen TV, and a Blu-Ray/DVD player. You'll also find a washer and dryer in the pantry. Linens are provided, including sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, beach towels, and dog drying towels. In the master bedroom, you will find the decor to have a playful yet sophisticated feel. It includes a very comfortable king size bed, a flat screen TV, and an in-suite bathroom with a combined shower and tub. The guest bedroom has one twin and one double bed, and a flat screen TV. It's the perfect place for your kids or guests. The second bathroom also has a combined shower and tub and is centrally located off the main hallway. The cottage includes free Wi-Fi and cable TV. This place is one of the best places I have stayed - it's small but mighty. It's just a short walk across the road to beach access 10 (not to be confused with 10s). I can actually throw a football from the front yard onto the sand. The view from the porch is fantastic with sunrise views.I'm a yard guy and the front yard is immaculate. The deck has a grill (which we used a few times) two chairs and a full patio set with umbrella and chair pads, all clean and very sturdy - none of that rickety thin plastic stuff.The house itself is exactly as described in the listing - no surprises at all. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils, the island is huge with stools tucked under, all furniture was solid and very nice. Appliances are updated and fridge has a functioning ice maker for those evening happy hours.Two full very clean bathrooms (one in the primary) on the smaller side but not uncomfortably small. This is expected with a house this size and what we anticipated. Water pressure is great in both showers - important to me.Two bedrooms are very clean and nicely furnished the master is much bigger than I thought it would be. I can't say enough good things about this place. We were so happy and comfortable here. Take my word for it, book your next stay here, you won't be disappointed.The host, Sabrina is great; very responsive and accommodating. ##### Robert D. Approximately 100 steps to the sand. Located right across from beach access, quiet, and uncrowded. House is so nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. House is well stock with anything you might need. Just felt like home away from home. Really enjoyed being able to go right to out door shower when coming up off beach. Beautiful shower setup! Owner was excellent to deal with and the listing was accurate to what we found when we arrived. Directly across the street from the beach. Both bedrooms and baths were fitted with nice linens. The kitchen was well stocked for 4 guests. The deck on the front of the house has very comfy chairs and a lovely table wth an umbrella. It was great sitting out there for drinks and dinner. We used the gas grill twice too. The property manager Jean was available and responsive to our needs. Since she was traveling her backup David helped us out with the TV. (Us old folks are technological challenged)!! David gave us great restaurant ideas and did not steer us wrong. The shed behind the house was filled with beach equipment. Some of the chairs were quite old but serviceable. The beach was very private for only the residents in the neighborhood so we felt like the rich and famous. We will certainly rent again in the future and tell our Ocala friends all about the beach cottage. ##### Lea Ann M. We enjoyed our time on the beach, Fort Clinch and old town area. The rental property was adequate. Furnishings were worn but adequate, kitchen set up was adequate.
