If you are looking for the perfect spot for your next vacation, this is it! The first view you will have when driving into this gated community is that of the incredible old white oak trees, draped with Spanish moss and covering the roads of the entire community. Several walking/bike paths next to the villa will allow you to feel close with nature, as well as the breathtaking Rosette Spoonbills that reside in the tress and lagoons around the nearby golf course. Enjoy vast fairway views from this two-bedroom, two and a half bathroom villa situated in the prestigious Omni Resort on the South end of Amelia Island. The living area, bathroom, kitchen and dining area are tiled throughout and conveniently located on the main floor, which also connects to a small outdoor patio that overlooks a grassy courtyard, an ideal place to pause for a morning cup of coffee. Located upstairs, guests will find the master bedroom with a queen size bed and the guest bedroom with two twin size beds. From the master bedroom, you will have access to a private balcony to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and a good book. All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach umbrella are also provided for you to use during your stay. While at this rental, you can enjoy the acclaimed biking/walking trails, spa, shops, nature center, chapel, or restaurants situated in the resort, or you can venture to the charming Historic Downtown of Fernandina Beach (about a 15-minute drive north) and feast on the eclectic dining and varied shopping options. Golf is available at many great courses in the area. Bike and golf cart rentals are also available - please inquire for additional information. Please be advised, this property does not offer access to the Omni Resort privileges or amenities. Access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park (Drysdale) is restricted to only club members and their guests. Pets are permitted; however, only dogs are allowed. Dogs must remain on the first floor at all times. If left unattended in the unit without a guest present, they must be securely crated. A $500 fee will be applied if a dog is found on the upper level. All RVs, trailers and boats are NOT allowed within the security gate. Please inquire for further details. We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of Docusign. There was scaffolding all over the unit and surrounding units. You had to walk under scaffolding to get into the unit. All of the patio furniture was dumped in a pile due to the construction work. It was not livable. When I contacted Amelia Island Vacations we had to wait over THREE HOURS for help and the options were absolutely ridiculous - We could stay at the under construction unit. We could move off of the Amelia Island Plantation (my son is autistic and has only vacationed at the Plantation. We have not gone anywhere else and he looks forward to it all year) Staying off of the plantation was not an option. They did put us in a dark and dingy unit but said that we would have to leave after one week (we had a two week vacation and had worked the dates out with work, etc) or we would have to move to two separate united during the second week of our vacation. Amelia Island Vacations did not return calls when they said they would. I went online and found a wonderful company called Amelia Luxury Vacations and they bent over backwards to find a place for us and save our vacation. I will let everyone I know NOT to use Amelia Island Vacations and VERBO should have no association at all with such an unprofessional and chaotic rental agency. It makes me question how Verbo vets the companies with which they do business.
