Fiyatına Değmez
Fiyat/Performans olarak kötü bir otel. Binası eski bir bina diye iç dekorasyonu da döküntü olmak zorunda değil bu işi iyi yapabilen otallere baksınlar. Oda nemden çürük kokuyordu, tuvalet kağıdı bile yoktu. Duşunu kullanmaya çekindim. Yarı fiyatındaki yurt odası gibi yerde kalsam bile daha iyiydi.
Sabah kahvaltısı eh seviyedeydi. Bir hafta önce Ankara'da aynı fiyata kaldığım otelin kahvaltısının yarısı bile etmezdi. Kahvaltının yapıldığı bahçe tek iyi taraftı diyebilirim.
Otelin içinde bulunduğu mahalle oldukça pis ve varoş. Bu konuda bir şey yapmaları zor biliyorum ama hala ödediğim paraya yanıyorum. Fiyatı az daha yükseltsem en azından içinde duş alabileceğim bir yerde kalıp gittiğim etkinlikte ter kokmazdım.

Otele girdim ve hemen çıktım. Konumu o kadar kötü ki kim kalır orada? Esnafların arasında otel mi olur?
Ayrıca otelde tokyoyla dolaşan bir görevli bile vardı... Neresi special Class.. Özel bir sınıfta olabilir ama kesinlikle iyi bir klassmanda değil o kesin.

Das Hotel liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße. Hier sieht man das wirkliche türkische Leben abseits der Touristenpfade. Nach meiner Schätzung wird das Hotel größtenteils von türkischen Handelsreisenden besucht. Da ich im November da war, gab es Frühstück in einem verglasten Seitenraum zum gemütlichen Hof, der von den Rauchern verwendet wurde. Bei wärmerem Wetter frühstückt man sicherlich draußen im Hof. Am Abend habe ich auch im Hotel gegessen, für ca. TL 15 einschl. Getränk. Das Hotel ist wirklich preiswert. Mein Einzelzimmer fand ich hübsch, mit einer dunkelroten Wand und einer Empore mit kleinem Tisch und Stuhl vorm Fenster. Abends vor Mitternacht war es manchmal laut, was mich nicht gestört hat - nur ein gelegentliches Auto oder Leute, die sich auf der Straße unterhalten haben. Also, wenn man Luxus erwartet, ist dies nicht Ihr Ding, aber wenn Sie etwas Authentisches erleben wollen, dann vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Rezeptionistin hat etwas Deutsch gesprochen. Mein Koffer wurde in mein Zimmer hochgetragen. Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Von hier aus habe ich Izmir gänzlich zu Fuß erkundet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich, bevorzugt auf türkischer Art (Oliven, Tomaten, weißer Käse usw.). Als allein reisende Frau überhaupt kein Problem (aber ich hatte nie solche Probleme in der Türkei, sowieso). Der Preis war auch angemessen, attraktiv für diejenigen, die kein so großes Budget haben.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage
Das Hotel liegt nahe am Bazarviertel. Auch alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten Izmirs (Konak, Agora etc.) sind rasch zu erreichen. Herzliche Grüße an Ercan, Dein Humor und Deine Hilfsbereitschaft am Empfang haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem echten Erlebnis gemacht. Selten so viel gelacht!

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber Bett - schlecht, in der Nacht - Lärm aus dem Innenhof und sonst ( Heizung, Wasser usw.);

Best Kept Secret in Downtown Izmir
Don't get discouraged when entering the tiny lobby. You might think it is a back-packer hostel. By no means. The rooms are nice and clean and have all the amenities; if something is missing or not working, contact the staff, they'll go out of their way to help. The place has an inner courtyard for al fresco dining. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator. The location is great; you're right in the middle of every-day life in Turkey. For a budget hotel, it is absolutely recommendable.
