The apartment has a private entrance and operates with a lockbox system. You can access the apartment using the key inside the lockbox located right next to the door.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
Step outside your door and you’re instantly embraced by the charm of Galata, one of Istanbul’s most storied districts. The cobblestone streets wind past centuries-old buildings, boutique art galleries, and cozy cafés where the aroma of fresh-brewed Turkish coffee mingles with the sound of street musicians. Just meters away, the iconic Galata Tower rises against the sky — climb to its top for panoramic views that have captivated travelers for generations. By evening, the neighborhood comes alive with lively bistros, intimate jazz bars, and the soft glow of lantern-lit terraces. From here, Karaköy’s waterfront, Istiklal Avenue’s bustle, and the Golden Horn’s sunset views are all within a leisurely stroll.  
  
Getting Around:  
Your apartment is a perfect base for exploring Istanbul on foot or by public transport. The Şişhane Metro Station is a short walk uphill, connecting you directly to Taksim, Levent, and beyond. Karaköy Tram Station, just 7 minutes downhill, offers an easy route to Sultanahmet’s treasures — Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapı Palace. For a more nostalgic journey, hop on the historic Tünel funicular, one of the world’s oldest, linking Galata to the heart of Istiklal Avenue. And when you’re ready for the water, ferries from Karaköy can whisk you across the Bosphorus to Asia in minutes.  
  
Other Things to Note:  
As Homie Suites, we have to be provided with our guests’ valid passport ID’s to welcome our guests in our apartments which is a compulsory requirement to conform to the Turkish Legislation Regulations and Rules which were authorized and reported by Turkish legislation dated 26/06/1973.  
  
Our guests need to agree to send us the related information before they check into their Homie Apartment. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to share the check-in instructions with our guests who don't share their passport information.
