Check your cares at the door and relax in this beautiful vacation home! Two blocks from the beach, and just steps away from the Wild Dunes Resort this home offers the best of both worlds, coupled with your own private pool, all of the boxes are checked off. Covered porches, poolside lounging, open floor concept, chefs kitchen, just a short walk to the beach and the Wild Dunes Pavilion Boardwalk, which offers a beach side Café and Bar. Across the street, behind the gates of Wild Dunes there are several on property restaurants offering everything from seafood to pizza to southern staples. Wild Dunes also offers two of the most scenic golf courses in South Carolina, the Links Course and the Harbor Course. Wild Dunes restaurants and golf courses located behind the gates of Wild Dunes are all open to the public. This home is 4,129 square feet of wonderful with 6 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, and 3 half baths, including a dedicated poolside bathroom. There is elevator service to all levels. The first floor has an open concept living area with a true gourmet chef's kitchen with professional grade appliances, butler's pantry and a large island. The great room features a wet bar with plenty of seating for all. There are two bedrooms on the first floor each with their own ensuite bathroom. The rear deck is off the living area and has stairs to the pool area. There are four bedrooms on the second floor including a second primary suite. The second floor also has a separate media room/den with a second wet bar and sliding glass doors for access to the outside deck. Laundry is available on each floor. A large ground level area with pool offers a shower and poolside covered porch. Important information: \*\*\*\*Noise heard from the street will not be tolerated. Truly a gourmet kitchen in which we prepared multiple meals. Upstairs and downstairs dens and outside porches were welcomed gathering sites. Though the water was too cold to enjoy in December, the pool was still operating and enticing. Perfectly situated between the sand and the Wild Dunes resort. ##### Tim H. Eventually we got it to work from the second floor to the third floor. The repair man said that he would get someone from the elevator company to come but they didn’t come before we left. This was an important reason for selecting this property since we have disabilities that make climbing stairs with luggage difficult and safety concerns. ##### Etta W. Séjour de 3 nuits en avril 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Voyageur vérifié 30 nov. 2024 Points faibles : Propreté #### Nice house, not worth money Upon arrival we noticed there were not enough towels and the refrigerator, ice machine and other appliances weren’t working. With the a bit of investigating we found all the circuit breakers were tripped. We opened the dishwasher and there was a load of unwashed dishes. There was no remote for the outdoor tv which we were hoping to watch football on. Called company and they said if we couldn’t find it we could use the switches on the side of the TV (that would mean we couldn’t turn the channels). There were no cleaning supplies or garbage bags, we had to go buy them. The icing on the cake was MANY giant palmetto bugs all over the place. The first being the one that jumped out at us from the fridge when we opened it. Had to call and have them come spray. We still kept finding them the entire stay. Overall the house was beautiful but didn’t seem to be cleaned.
