Prepare yourself for a wonderful beach getaway when you come to stay at this lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on Isle of Palms, S.C.! With amenities like a screened-in porch, rooftop deck, and outdoor beach shower, this lovely little beach bungalow has all the basics for a quaint coastal vacation. Even better, it has an excellent location in the heart of the Isle that puts you only a walk away from the beach!

Pull up to the home and you'll note the pastel blue color and landscaping of towering palms. Enter through the front door, and you'll find yourself in the open concept living and kitchen area. The living space is furnished with a gray sectional, offering plenty of seating for your group if you'd like to watch the TV, along with a ceiling fan to keep the room cool.

From the living space, doors open into the sunroom, which creates the feeling of an indoor-outdoor space with a wall of wide windows. This room offers a four-seater dining set, along with comfy sofas (one of which folds out into a queen bed), a decorative rug, and another flat-screen TV. With natural light and plenty of lamps, it's the perfect place to relax day or night.

Back in the main area, you'll find another dining set that can seat six. Past that is the fully equipped kitchen, where you'll find all you need to make your own vacation creations, from pre-dinner snacks to homemade breakfast to start the day off right.

Outside, you'll find a BBQ grill for outside cooking, along with a screened-in porch with a six-seater outdoor dining set, and a lounge area. Enjoy your meals out in the ocean breeze or indulge in a little relaxation with your favorite book—either way, you'll love the added protection from the elements that the screens provide! When you're in the mood for the open air, you can journey up the outside stairs to the rooftop deck. Perfect for sunrises or sunsets, the deck is furnished with a table and a variety of seating, including Adirondack chairs.

The three bedrooms offer several sleeping arrangements, with one room furnished with a king size bed, the second with a queen, and the third with two twin beds. Other amenities this property offers include air conditioning, cable access, and a washer and dryer. Along with complimentary Wi-Fi, it's all you could want in a low-key beach rental!

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 3 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given.

This home is dog friendly. Dogs are considered with a $250 pet fee (per pet), applicable pet policy signed, and flea proof records received prior to arrival. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty. Absolutely no cats or other animals are allowed. Any damages caused by the pet will be charged to the pet owner, and not paid by the pet fee.

This property also includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. Just another added bonus for booking through Carroll Realty to enhance your vacation experience.

ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

4th of July Getaway

We decided last minute to "Get Away" for the 4th of July and were shocked to see this property available. It was perfect for me and my college-aged kids. The proximity to the beach was great, and very close to public beach access. The house was an ideal size, and the top deck made for a beautiful early-morning coffee spot and was great for the IOP fireworks show! We will be staying at this property again in the future!

Perfect set up for multi age groups

We loved this house!! It's literally a two to three minute walk from the beach. The house is the perfect set up for teens, adults, and little kids to be able to co-habitate. They list it as an older beach house with no modern amenities. We had n complaints except the cleaning company could have done a slightly better job, but we got s some stuff spruced it up. We would stay here again. Carroll realty is wonderful to deal with, we had a step break maintenance guy was there in twenty minutes. We had a gear credit, got bikes for the kids they had a blast. We didn't want to leave

The property was not the cleanest when we got there. There was dirty medical tape laying in one of the bedrooms. There was coffee spills on the sink. The trash or recycling bin had not been emptied for prytwo weeks. There were ants all over the screened porch and sunroom. We were not even able to enjoy these spots of the property. Also this property should definitely NOT be listed as a beach view. There was no ocean or beach viewable from this home. Only other homes. Also the construction noise and the tree cutting service down the street working were unbearable at times. Good thing we didn’t speed much time at the house.

Labor Day weekend stay

Merely adequate for the price

Carroll realty was excellent to deal with. I will definitely use this agency in the future but probably not this property. The proximity to the beach is convenient. We enjoyed the experience of sitting out on the upper deck with a breeze and gorgeous view of the full moon. The screened in porch was enjoyable as well. The elderly next door neighbors are very pleasant . However, the property is lacking in several areas. The baseboards and floor edges had an obvious accumulation of all sorts of debris. The floor and carpet on the screened porch had not been cleaned in some time. The front storm door was bent did not close/ latch. Majority of screened porch furniture was old wicker chairs with broken wicker , one of which a loose rusty nail that was found by my husband when when he leaned back against it. Questionable electrical safety due to obvious overuse of extension cords and lack of GFI outlets in kitchen and bath areas.

Great Location but they need to hire a new cleaning crew!

Great location.....a block from the beach access and a little over 1 mile to the grocery store. BUT, the House was filthy! We were smacked in the face with enough air freshener to sedate a small ryhno but once the fumes dissapated the living room rug smelled of dog urine. There was dog hair EVERYWHERE! I expected some in the corners or behind the couch but there was hair standing in the middle of the floors. All over the beds creaked and made it impossible to sleep. I would invest in new beds and a different cleaning crew!

Very mediocre accommodations

The location was very nice. A/C and plumbing worked well. That being said the entire place was in a state of disrepair. Screens were torn out flapping, the threshold was torn loose, carpets stained, beds all squeaked with slight movement and mattresses were stained. The exterior was covered with mildew and all the furnishings stained, scarred, dented or broken. A very small amount of investment could really help this property. This isn't a vacation rental, it's merely investment property for the owner.

Nice but could have been better!

The house is at a great location. Short walk to the beach with close beach access. The house was comfortable but the owner needs to take better care of it. A/C worked great, comfortable sleeping arrangements, nice upper deck for mornings & evenings, great showers, but the stove had an electrical smell all week and on the last day, it sparked & smoked & the 2 back burners no longer worked, so we unplugged it in fear of a fire. Also the refrigerator took 24 hrs to get cold. House could have been cleaned better and we found numerous bugs in the house. Also screened in porch was dirty.

Comfortable and convenient to the beach

We enjoyed our 3 nights at this property. The house was spacious and comfortable, not fancy, but had working TVs in every room so we could watch the 2016 Summer Olympics. The AC kept the place very comfortable during a summer heat wave. The sun room is a very nice addition and was also kept very cool by the AC. Our only complaint was that the house was not appointed with the most basic necessities that I'm accustomed to finding when renting other VRBO properties: dish sponge, laundry or dish detergent, paper towels, dish towels, coffee filters, salt & pepper shakers, etc. We were happy that at least each bathroom had some toilet paper on the roll. We left a dish sponge and a couple dishwasher detergent pods for the next guests. Would be nice if the management left enough basics to get you through at least one night without having to immediately run out and go to the store. Or at least warn you to come prepared with those necessities yourself. Or even offer a basics pack for purchase at the management office when you pick up your keys. Otherwise it was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay at the beach for a few days.

Cute house

The house is adorable, location was great...a short five-ish minute walk to the beach. Air conditioner worked well. My family would be inclined to rent this location again if some cosmetic updates were done. $1500 and an hour on Pinterest would be all that this property needed. I removed small couch cushion & pillow covers and washed them and lint rolled the rest of the furniture because they had pet hair on them. I don't know if the owners are getting their $$ worth with the cleaning company as some areas were very dusty. Nothing that the Clorox wipes couldn't handle, but not what I wanted to do on vacation. The sun deck needed to have the old, broken furniture removed & the hammock looked too dangerous to sit on. Great view though. The outside shower would have been nice to use except for the ground cover that could have been mowed before using it. The bathroom off the kitchen had some issues that my husband was able to fix & we did call rental company who called back in less than an hour & said someone would come if issue continued. Screened porch was great! This sounds like a terrible review, but it truly was a wonderful relaxing week. There was nothing that kept our family from enjoying this property, it just really needs a makeover of the dressers & replace all the bedroom pillows ($4 at Target!) I have already recommended this property to family & church friends for maybe a late fall getaway! We ate 3 dinner meals on Sullivan's Island at Poe's, Sullivan's and Taco Mamacita...great food & service at all 3.

Great place to stay for the cost

Very clean well kept home, very close to the beach. My dog had a blast, and we will be visiting many more times. Carroll Realty is awesome, and will always go through them. Very accommodating!
