Enjoy a break from your hectic pace at 88 Grand Pavilion. Located on a quaint tree-lined street, this 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home is a modern beach cottage that is located in the heart of Wild Dunes. Best yet, it is only a three-minute walk to the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk, which has direct beach access and two oceanfront swimming pools!

This fantastic beach cottage was completely gutted and renovated by renowned low country architect, Christopher Rose. In addition, it was professionally decorated by Chinn Rose + Design LLC. The renovation included a new custom-built kitchen with all new stainless Kitchen Aid appliances, the addition of a powder room on the first floor, all new bathrooms, a new private outdoor shower, and all new Anderson Hurricane-proof windows, and doors. Relax in the newly enclosed back sunroom boasting floor-to-ceiling windows that capture all the light and views without all the heat. The deck off the back sunroom houses a gas grill for those summer cookouts after your day at the beach. Sip cocktails or have dessert on the front porch rockers to end your beautiful day at the beach.

The main floor has three king bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. The second floor has a king bedroom, one bedroom with three twins, and one daybed with trundle and a shared bathroom. All bedrooms will have 4K TVs and iHome clock radios. An additional feature is a Marvel wine/beverage fridge. Perfect for extra drinks!

- Please note that Early Check-In (ECI) and Late Check-Out (LCO) services are not available from May to September.
- Guests must supply their own beach/pool towels.
- Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking.
- From May-September, guests will need a pool card for Grand Pavilion pool access. (Not needed off-season.) The pools are open year round but are not heated.
- Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes.
- Guests have access to the Grand Pavilion pools closest to the beach, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately.
- Golf carts are not allowed at this property.
- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.

The house is very nice and a good location. The only complaint would be the TV situation. Way too many remotes and a lot of misprogrammed functions and just way too complex for most people to be able to use. Very difficult to move between cable TV and other streaming apps and controlling volume about impossible.

Family Spring Break

This house was the perfect spot for our two families to spend the week together. We really appreciated the king beds in each of the bedrooms and the well stocked kitchen. The location was fantastic with only a short walk to the beach. The only downside was that we came at the end of March during off season, one of the grand pavilion pools was under construction, none of the boardwalk shops were open and we did not have access to the brand new sweetgrass pool which the kids would have enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and this was the perfect location to experience Charleston for the first time.

beautiful beach house

PERFECT for families. We had a small issue with slow wifi - we had young kids with us. So they needed their movies, and our netflix was slow. The owner tried to fix it a soon as possible. The problem was not completely resolved, but I do feel like happy with how quickly he helped. Great kitchen with lots of appliances - like toaster, slow cooker, etc. Overall - one of the best home I have been in!

Awesome property

Me and my family were very impressed with the quality of the property. They had all the comforts of home and had thought through so many nice touches. High quality appliances and all we could ask for in the kitchen, nice Weber grill for grilling out, dual iPhone charging clocks in all the bedrooms, smarthome tv remotes, sonos whole house audio system, the list goes on. We are definitely considering making this property an annual trip.

Very nice as good as advertised, especially the kitchen. It had every and anything you would need. The only caveat is the beach furnishings. Typically, we spend a lot of time at the cloister at Sea Island, where beach chairs, umbrellas and towels are all taken of and provided. Saves us in dollars but more importantly, it saves us from the hassle of lugging chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc to and fro from the beach.

Great Vacation Home!!!

This is a beautifully appointed home with two large gathering spaces, large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. My family of 12 had room to spare. We will be renting again. The only negative would be the outdoor space but the lovely sunroom and large front porch more than made up for the lack of deck or patio space. Loved this home, wish I could give it 10 stars!!!

Urine odor in upstairs bathroom

When we checked in there was an overwhelming urine smell upstairs - it seemed to be most prominent in the bathroom, even though the floors are tile. The rest of the upstairs is carpet. We were able to keep windows open upstairs and the bedrooms when closed up for sleeping at night did not smell. Other than the smell, and the uncertain of what was causing the smell and the exact location of the smell. I am giving the cleanliness rating a 5 because the rest of the house was spotless and I would expect that the owner will take care of this immediately.

Lovely home in perfect location

This renovated 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom home is perfect for families of 10. We could easily walk to beach, swimming pools, and food and drink. But the house has comfortable bedrooms and large kitchen so everyone can gather and cook. Oh, an abundance of televisions!

This place was perfect. The neutral tones and simplistic modern decor made it very relaxing. It was also very spacious and a lot of different rooms to relax in. We will likely be staying here again! The proximity to the beach and pools were within a few minutes of the house and was no issue for the children. We used vayK gear, I highly recommend two carts if you have children, one for the smaller kids, one for gear. Overall perfect experience.

My husband and I have rented many homes in the past, but 88 Grand Pavilion is absolutely the best! The home is so inviting and comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. Never have I stayed anywhere that all the beds were so comfortable. Everyone woke up the first morning saying the same thing- the beds are awesome. Televisions in every room and two on the sun porch and program selection was excellent. The Sports Card provided access to swimming, tennis, golf, and fitness. The beach was a scenic, 3 minute walk and other amenities were very close by. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. Everyone loved our week at Wild Dunes and we shall return...

Best beach house we have ever stayed at!
