"We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked with coffee, teas, cleaning products, washing tablets, fabric softener and plenty of towels. The beds are extremely comfortable with lots of fluffy blankets and cushions and we all slept well. The large windows frame the scenery and the log burner was a great touch. Only a few minor negatives- we only used the hot tub once, not sure how clean the water was...

"The lady at the front desk is amazing. She helped us a lot and the hotel art/decor is fabulous. Our group was 2 couples and we all enjoyed our stay very much. Location was also great, you could walk everywhere from there. "

"Perfect location. I was able to walk to shops nearby and the church. My room was small by American standards but very well designed and laid out. The Lopi blanket was a nice touch. I wish they sold them at the hotel as one would have come home with me. I read a comment before I arrived that said to ask for the Marina side if you have a balcony room so thank you to that person. My only note is parking is not available. I ended up parking on a side street or the whale watching lot. It was not a big deal and it was free. I had no issues and as a solo traveler felt perfectly safe at night. When I return to Iceland I will stay here again. It was awesome. "

"Room was in a separate building than the main check in lobby so we had to walk an extra 5 minutes in the rain to our room. Other than that, excellent location and amenities. Nice having a small kitchenette and coffee, cereal/milk provided. Close to everything! "
