Enjoy a soak in the hot tub on the back deck while breathing in the mountain air or enjoy some family time in one of the multiple living rooms. This cabin is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the local grocery store and only 20 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. With a hot tub on the back deck and a fire pit in the backyard, you won't want to leave this incredible escape! The ground level of this three story cabin features a living room, dining area and a full kitchen with beautiful cabinets and granite countertops. Past the kitchen at the end of the hall on the lefthand side is the master bedroom with a king sized bed and an attached private bathroom that features a walk-in shower. The master suite also has a private entrance to the back deck and hot tub. At the end of the hall to the righthand side you'll find the mudroom with a half bath and access to the back deck. Upstairs is a sitting area at the top of the landing. Down the hall on the left is a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. This bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms on the upper level. At the end of the hall are two bedrooms, both with a queen bed. The lower level features a second living room for gathering together and enjoying games or a movie on the comfortable couches. Down one end of the hall is a bedroom with a king bed and down the other end are two more bedrooms one with a queen bed and a twin over twin bunk bed and one with a queen bed and a twin bed. Also on this level are 2 shared bathrooms. Guests will have access to the entire cabin except for one locked closet which is for cleaning and cabin supplies. I live in the area and am available when needed. Explore the scenic Island Park area during your stay. Within minutes from the cabin you can go fly fishing, golfing, float the Big Springs River, dine at local restaurants and visit the beautiful Mesa Falls. Guests will need their own transportation as there are no public transportation or ride share services available in the area. This secluded cabin sits off HWY 20 at the end of the neighborhood with ATV and snowmobile trail access from the cabin. If you’d like more info about machine rentals, we partner with local rental companies that can deliver the machines directly to your rental cabin. Visit Yellowstone National Park during your stay at Black Bear Lodge. With over 500 active geysers, 290 waterfalls, 10,000 thermal features, plus an abundance of wildlife and beautiful scenery it certainly makes for an unforgettable vacation. For guests interested in visiting Grand Teton National Park, it is scenic a two and a half hour drive through the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park through the South Entrance into Jackson Hole, Wyoming. No smoking. No pets. There is no A/C. Towels and Linens: Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Grey stain resistant makeup washcloths are provided in each bathroom for removal of these products. Please avoid using regular hand/bath towels with all skin products. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the cabin in order to hide stains. Housekeeping will wash all laundry. This cabin is absolutely beautiful! We brought all our kids and their families to Island Park to spend the holiday together. There was plenty of room for everyone, the bedrooms were so comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The arrangement of rooms was perfect for our extended family of 14\. It had secluded bedrooms upstairs, perfect for putting the little ones to bed early, and rooms in the lower level where the older boys could play and make noise without disturbing anyone. The adults were comfortable on the main level, with ample seating (both relaxing and dining) for all of us together.Brennyn was quick to answer all our questions and was very responsive. The welcome amenities were very gracious and appreciated. This location made a great launching pad for our adventures in both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We were out of the "hustle and bustle" but not so far away to be inconvenient. The ride to the property within the neighborhood was its own adventure - with cattle crossing, mule deer visitors every day and even a sighting of a momma moose and baby!We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard and the peaceful surroundings. The DOUBLE set of washers and dryers was a huge bonus for getting all our laundry done in short order. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals for our hungry herd.Even though it was hotter than normal (except for the morning we had SNOW - in July!), having the windows open to get fresh air into the house was sufficient - no air conditioning needed! We had great memories. We loved feeling like we were “in the woods” with 5 star accommodations. The drive into town and to the west gate was enjoyable and our kids loved the cows along the way. It actually felt more like we were “glamping” instead of being in town and at a hotel. The fire pit and firewood was a nice experience and we made fun memories out there.
