We visited Yellowstone every other day and then did local activities in Island Park on the off days. We had seven people in our group and the cabin was very comfortable for that size group. Heads up to plan to supply extras of some basics that either weren’t stocked at all, or weren’t quite enough for our large party, primarily paper towels and foil. The location among trees keeps the cabin fairly comfortable even on hotter days, and that porch was wonderful. I know it’s hard to find reasonable prices in this area so in comparison to other cabins in this general area and price range, it seems this one was a decent choice. ##### Lisa R. We stayed at this property for our family reunion this summer (early August 2019.) we had twenty people show up this year, and everybody loved this forest cabin. We spent the bulk of our time exploring nearby Yellowstone NP, but spent our evenings visiting and sharing family dinners at the cabin. The kitchen and living room offered plenty of space for our purposes; The size and decor was perfect. The adults had plenty of space to catch up, and the teenagers had plenty of space to get away in the ample sized family room (downstairs) or the upstairs loft. None of us had cell service, but the internet was very good. Strong enough for internet calling and video streaming. This cabin is situated on a very large lot surrounded by trees and is very private, serving as an excellent reprieve from the huge summer crowds of Yellowstone. We never felt crowded inside or out. Because our family came from so many different places we ended up with six cars parked on the property. This was no problem, plenty of driveway space. The only issue, predictably, was that with so many people we had to schedule showers strategically in order to manage the hot water. We did manage, and will definitely try to schedule this property for future visits. ##### Gordie W. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved the lofted eating area. The location was quite remote which was great from a nature perspective, but a long drive (over an hour) from the Yellowstone West entrance. We saw a lot of wildlife including a neighborhood moose who appeared almost daily! The biggest challenge we faced was the state of the dirt roads within the neighborhood. Google maps took us on a route in the neighborhood that was unpassable and filled with excavations and large holes. The alternate path, while passable, was wrought with deep ruts and holes. We were glad we had an SUV to manage - I don't think it would have been passable in a normal sedan. There were some areas where the neighbors attempted to put gravel in spots to improve the situation. ##### Julie B.
