Recently built with the basics for your trip. The kitchen, living room, and bedroom are upstairs. The full bathroom and washer/dryer are downstairs on the main floor. WiFi with a smart TV mean you can stream your favorite movie/TV shows when not out exploring all the amazing scenery! The bedroom features one queen and one twin bed with plentiful closet space. Off to the side of the living room space there's a single bed. The kitchenette space is equipped with most all the cooking utensils and supplies you'll need. The living area has a couple comfy couches and a smart TV. Downstairs is a washer and dryer set to make you feel right at home, along with the bathroom. There's a private entrance so you can feel comfortable and secure. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood with short driving distance to the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park (20 minutes). WiFi, towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, are included. Driveway with parking space for one or two vehicles. If you need to park extra vehicles or trailers, there's a large parking space just off highway 20 when you pull that's got all the space you'll need. (RV's and camper trailers not allowed on property) One or two dogs are welcome. We charge a $30/day pet fee. And we require that they never get on the furniture or beds. Even good dogs can get anxious when left alone in a new place and that is when they damage things. So your dog must be in a crate if you leave him behind in the cabin. (We do not provide the crate.) To keep the cabin beautiful, you are responsible to pay for any damage caused by your dog. You'll have access to the loft including the washer/dryer, everything upstairs, the fire pit out back, and the parking space out front! Usually, there is some wood to burn near the fire pit. If not, you're responsible for getting fire wood at Robins Roost just a couple minutes away. I won't be present during your stay but am available for any questions or concerns. Please let me know and I'll be happy to help. Only 10 miles/20 minutes away from West entrance into Yellowstone National park and close to Henry's Fork on the Snake River. Also the cabin is within about five minutes of a couple restaurants and a gas station/grocery store where you can get anything you may need or forgot. There isn't any public transportation in the area so you'll need to have a car to get around. There 700+ miles of trails that one can ride motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles etc on. We have ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles available for rent if you're looking for a different way to explore the area other than in a car. From mid-December to March you can depend on snow in Island Park. The roads are plowed well, but it would be a good idea to bring a vehicle that works well in the snow. A truck with clearance, 4WD or AWD is best. TAKE AN ADVENTURE ON THE 700+ MILES OF TRAILS FOR SNOWMOBILES, ATVS, AND UTVS RIGHT OUT YOUR BACK DOOR! WE HAVE SNOWMOBILES, ATVS, AND UTVS FOR RENT THAT WE CAN DELIVER AND PICK UP TO YOUR CABIN. Dogs are allowed with a $30 pet fee per night up to 2 dogs. Pets are not allowed on any furniture such as the couches and beds. If you leave your pet alone in the cabin, they must be put in a kennel or crate. If we find pets have been in the cabin and we were not notified beforehand, the fee will be doubled. If pet hair is all over the bedspreads or furniture, expect a minimum of a $100 extra fee from the cleaning service. It is around 20-30 minutes from the park entrance. There is a grocery store 5 min by which made things easy for us. The property itself was very clean and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked with all necessary utensils if you want to cook. Being in a quiet neighborhood it felt very safe as well. The host was very responsive with all the questions we had. The owner was quick to respond to messages. The only issue was the towels and sheets we had when we arrived were not washed thoroughly (we know because we washed them ourselves and the spots disappeared). The owner had fresh sheets and towels dropped off after I messaged him though. I understand things happen- cleaning companies and miscommunication.
