This waterfront cottage is only one hour north of Toronto and one hour from Pearson International Airport. It is located just south of Barrie so the travel time from Toronto is a breeze! Perched on the shores of Lake Simcoe in Innisfil, this charming home offers a breathtaking view of the water with windows spanning the entire front of the home. Passed down through generations, this property has been lovingly renovated in Summer 2023, blending modern amenities with timeless charm. Guests staying at this lakefront retreat will have access to a variety of special amenities, including 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddleboards (only available during the summer season), cornhole, bocce ball, croquet, and board games. We would definitely come back! The only issue we had was that the way to contact the owner was through an AI chat bot which was not helpful, and took 1 day to get an answer (which was to contact the host directly). There are actually 4 bedrooms instead of just the 2 that are listed. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and had more than enough dishes, glasses, pots and pans. The macrame chairs overlooking the water are perfect for relaxing and the beds are all comfortable. We enjoyed the board games and puzzles as well. Would definitely book again! ##### Christine H. This cottage boasted its wildlife with geese, ducks, loons and even a blue herring to keep us company by the water. The macrome swings were a perfect shaded spot to hang out on outside and read. The kitchen was well stocked with pantry items, and all the cookware we needed. The beds were an absolute dream to sleep on! We especially liked the stragically placed ceiling fans which kept us cool at night. We brought our own board games but the cottage already had a bunch we could play. We especially liked Blokus and Slammich lol The paddle boards and kayaks were easily accessable and a dream to use out on the water. Our stay was fantastic to say the least.
