This detached, single-storey cottage has an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with TV and open fire. Oil/Electricity will be judged at the end of your stay by meter reading and is payable locally. There are two double bedrooms and a shower room. The entrance to Roundstone harbour is marked by a large, upturned bath tub-shaped rock called seals rock (Chloch na Ron), where seals like to sunbathe. It's also called Roundstone Haven. Roundstone has pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops, a children's playground, and a traditional Irish night and festivals throughout the year. Roundstone is full of historical and geographical points of interest, including the Franciscan Monastery bell tower in Michael Killeen Park and a monument to St Brendan on Inishnee, a small island in Roundstone Bay. Gurteen and Dog's Bay beaches are a 5-minute drive away, and nearby activities include horseback riding, deep sea fishing, hiking, and cycling. Connemara Golf Club is 8 miles from Roundstone, and there's great scenery to enjoy on foot, bike, or car.
