From this location we were able to get to premier hikes so quickly, arriving before all the crowds. « We originally booked the cottage to do some hiking, however trails in NS were closed due to risk of wildfires, understandable. We still had an awesome time, drove the Cabot trail, went to the beach, explored the area. We will be back and will definitely stay here again. The cottage was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary tools, everything was clean, the space was cozy. »

« Pas d'eau potable dans la salle de bain et la cuisine.Ce n'est pas très grave, c'est juste qu'il n'y avait pas d'indications à savoir si on peut l'utiliser ou non pour cuire des pâtes, ni si le lieu fournissait de l'eau potable qqlpart ou non. Bref, pour moi ce fut un ennui, et comme il n'y a pas nulle part de "bureau d'accueil" sur le site, ben... personne à qui parler. Je ne savais pas s'il était sécuritaire de mettre mes lentilles cornéennes après m'être lavé les mains avec leur eau, ni si je...

« The cabin we stayed at was private with beautiful views of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the seals in the morning and evening at our own overlook with coffee or wine. The host, Ton, was friendly, welcoming and makes a great pannenkoeken for breakfast if you choose to eat at his restaurant. Overall a great start to our vacation and a good base for exploring Cape Breton. »
