The cabin offers all the modern amenities you need to stay comfortable during your stay, such as a queen bed loft, kitchenette and living space. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend away or just a chance to unplug and relax, Persis Cabin will provide you with a memorable stay. The Space: Persis Cabin is the perfect destination for anyone looking to get away and relax. It pairs well with Amos cabin and is one of 6 short term rental cabins on our 5 acre gated riverfront property. Our tiny cabin is situated in the heart of nature and can accommodate up to two guests comfortably. We take pride in providing a unique and special experience and have recently installed an outdoor shower and kitchenette to make your stay even more enjoyable. In addition, our 50” smart TV is the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. Whether you are looking to unplug from the world, or need a quiet place to write or work, Persis Cabin is the perfect place for you. The cabin is located right on the river and steps from our new iconic shared sauna and cold plunge on the yoga deck. Enjoy!!! Guest Access: Persis Cabin, private riverfront firepit, the acre of grass field, the North Fork of The Skykomish river, and the forest walking trails behind The Treeframe. The Neighborhood: Our gated cluster of cabins is pretty quiet and friendly! The Treeframe is one of 6 small cabins clustered around a grass field on this gated 5 acre property perched beautifully on the South bank of the North Fork of the wild Skykomish river. You can walk into the town of Index about .5 miles West along our gravel road. Be careful along Index/Galena road as fast cars and trucks go by. Turn right into town across the bridge. Index is located in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains; the summit of Mount Index is located 3 miles (4.8 km) south of the town. The Index Town Walls, granite cliffs up to 500 feet (150 m) high, are located on the northern edge of the town. These walls are popularly used for rock climbing, offering a variety of high-quality cracks for this purpose. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.23 square miles (0.60 km2), all of it land. Index is located on the North Fork Skykomish River, just above its confluence with the main channel of the Skykomish River. The Skykomish River's Sunset Falls, a nearly 300-foot-long (91 m) granite chute that drops some 100 feet (30 m), is located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the town (on the South Fork Skykomish River).\[citation needed\] In December 1980, the Skykomish River flooded the town and destroyed eight homes. The town is located 1 mile (1.6 km) north of US Highway 2, approximately 25 miles (40 km) west of Stevens Pass. The BNSF railroad, formerly the Great Northern Railway, runs through the middle of the town. Index was once an important stop for the mining (particularly Monte Cristo and Galena) and timber activities north of its location. Other Things to Note: We now offer grocery service! Persis Cabin is on a riverfront gated 5 acre property with 5 other small cabins. Amos Cabin is pretty close but the spaces are wonderful. We love the private river access, relaxing sauna, and incredible outdoor shower. The campfire spot faces the mountains and is perfect for unwinding. Inside, the loft's queen bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the newly renovated kitchen is adorable. The location is minutes from Heybrook Lookout, Espresso Chalet, and other great hiking trails.
