It was a short but steep walk down to Long Bay resort which had a coffee shop, bar and restaurant, with Tropical Fusion right next door. Beach in front of the resort is public, and there is also a beautiful beach just to the west side of the resort property. And while not fancy, it is certainly comfortable, clean and very pleasant. The hosts are incredibly attentive and responsive and provided boat transportation and guiding basically on demand.
