"My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and met our needs. The beach was perfect for playing and relaxing. The evening sunsets were perfect!"

"This house is very large and easily accommodated our large group of 21. The beds are comfy. We did have a couple issues that were promptly remedied. The wifi is slow and cell service is spotty, but I don't miss it while on vacation."
