"The manager was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming, even though we came in late. This building really was the old court house and each room in the building, from the 1910s or so, has been converted. The decor, strangely enough, reminds you of Asia or perhaps Asian fascination from that period of time. Downstairs is the equally fascinating Edie Rae cafe where you will get the best breakfast (free with your booking) that I have had in a long time. The location is the old section of town. Since the mill closed the area has suffered, but there are many great buildings to look at. Downtown for shopping is a 10 minute drive. I can't recommend this place enough."

"Room had lots of space, beds were comfortable, room was very clean. Long patio with comfortable chairs and a wonderful view! Parking was a little tight but doable. Would stay again. "

"The owners are really nice people . The room was clean and had a really nice ocean and boat launch view right across the street . My room 37 had a fridge , microwave , coffee machine and an airconditioner . The ocean walking path is right across the street and runs 28 km along the ocean . I had car troubes and had to stay another night. The motel said no vvacancy but the owner was able to let me keep my room another night which was super helpful as i really liked it there and has happy i didnt have to move to another motel. "

"Just a beautiful place, surprisingly with everything we needed in one small area. Great breakfast options and coffee at Nancy's bakery just steps away. A lovely pub with pleasant service, a beautiful view of the ocean, and a terrific menu. And another boardwalk restaurant with seafood options and more. Also, right behind the hotel is a beer and wine, and market with all basic needs covered. To top off, all staff and locals friendly and courteous. "

"The view was stunning! It was peaceful and relaxing. Stayed during a heatwave and there was no AC but still worth the view. Loved our ocean view room in the main building. The music played on the patio speakers nightly was so nice!! I sat in my patio until 1am watching the moi light hit the water. Gorgeous!!! "
