"Our stay was magical. The host is communicative and so quick at responding. We will go back for sure, and hesitate to let anyone else know how wonderful a place it is. If you love ocean views, nature, birds, sleeping to the sound of the sea, this is the spot. We were looking for dramatic views and solitude and found it. The host made us a wonderful dinner and could not have been more gracious. Seriously dreamy."

"It’s easy to get lost finding this hotel as it goes by 2 different names: Panamericana and Ancud, and neither is written on the building. That might explain why there were very few people staying there. Our room was tiny even though we paid more through Hotels.com than the hotel charged. Be sure to request an even numbered room which will be larger. The restaurant food was tasteless, but a 15 minute walk away is Restaurante La Pincoya which serves delicious, ample-sized, and affordable meals, including vegetarian choices. Good service, friendly staff. Too bad the same can’t be said for Hotel Panamericana/Ancud. "
