« The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna. »

« Check-in is at the property which has a front desk. Check-in was seamless and quick. Go ahead and book dinner each day there because the restaurant is fantastic. Kitchen facilities in the cabins are very good. Full kitchen for whatever you want to do. They also have a washer/dryer unit. Doesn't dry so well as so many of these perform, but ok. »

"L’hôtel était vieillot mais notre chambre était très agréable avec une double vue sur le lac (en coin), et confortable au final. Le personnel nous a très gentiment reattribué cette chambre car nous étions gênés par le bruit de la ventilation dans la 1ere. Option restauration sur place que nous n’avons pas testé. "

"Très déçus par la chambre dans une annexe de plein pied (ancienne étable ?) avec juste un vasistas pour un prix exorbitant (le plus cher de nos vacances). L’eau coule en filet. Dommage car le cadre est joli, les deux serveurs sympathiques et le repas et petit dej corrects"

"Le Kelvin Hotel à Oban est une bonne option pour un court séjour. L’établissement est bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville, et les chambres sont globalement propres et confortables. Petit bémol pour les chambres situées sous les toits : il faut parfois faire preuve d’agilité pour éviter les pans inclinés du plafond — un vrai petit jeu au quotidien ! Cela dit, cela n’a pas gâché notre séjour. Une adresse simple mais pratique pour découvrir Oban à pied."

"Lieu très calme et magnifique. Seul bémol pour s'y rendre il faut faire beaucoup de route ou prendre un ferry (12livres la traversée de 4 minutes). Les chambres sont spatieuses. L'espace cuisine communs aux autres voyageurs est très bien équipé. Le receptionniste est très gentil et arrangeant. Excellent séjour. Je reviendrai ici"
