Ilderton Vacation Packages

The hotel was nothing like advertised. Carpeting in the whole place looked liked it never been vacuum let alone cleaned. There was mold in hallways and rooms. The bathroom looked liked it never been cleaned ever, not enough toilet paper supplied had to keep asking for extra and not enough towels. The sheets had stains on them and mattresses lumpy. Would never ever recommend this hotel.

Was pleasantly surprised by the room we rented. Room number 1. Had a private washroom, fridge everything we needed for a 2 night stay at the beach. The bed could be a queen to give 2 adults a little more room. We were grateful for the air conditioner and coffee machine. They supplied a couple bottles of water, some granola bars which help when heading to the beach. Would be nice to have a patio door to go outside from the room but it was just a short distance to front door. The common area was pleasant but very stuffy and and damp but was told they just cleaned up after flooding so I'm sure a dehumidifier will solve the issue. Close to beach, right beside a great restaurant, parking right out front. Would stay again in room 1. The gentleman who helped us get to our room was pleasant and very helpful. Everyone was friendly.

There was a very loud dripping shower that dripped loudly all night. There was a ring of mould around the base and in the morning there was moisture dripping down the windows…. I had great difficulty sleeping. When I complained, the desk attendant knew the room number of the room based on my complaint, before I told her the number. It is an ongoing issue.. I want a discount for my discomfort!
