« I have stayed in many hotels around the world and Wishing Tree Boutique and Resort ranks right at the top. The views are unreal and impossible to recreate. Waking up to that scenery alone makes the stay special. The staff are outstanding. Warm, welcoming and genuinely happy. Service was spot on throughout, attentive when needed but never intrusive. They struck the perfect balance and gave great local recommendations without ever being pushy. A special mention to Sampath, the manager, who is...

A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. « +++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us.
