Apart from the good location and big fenced yard, there were lots of little niceties, like a coffee and tea station, stocked with loose tea from the local shop, hand and dish soap from another local shop, and a candle made by the owner to take as a gift. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and spices/condiments. The beds have heated blankets, and I enjoyed watching birds at the feeders right outside the bedroom window in the morning. Everything is clean and the furniture is nice and comfortable. We were so pleasantly surprised by the little unexpected amenities like gourmet loose-leaf tea, welcome champagne and a homemade candle to take home. There are beautiful hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and bathroom; bedrooms both have comfortable carpeting. We stayed for 5 weeks... we have never stayed anywhere for that long and we would definitely stay here again. Margaret is an amazing communicator and we felt very comfortable.Perhaps our favorite little surprise was the adorbs dog next door, Bella, who daily tried to race our greyhound along the fence. :D10/10 recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. ##### Shanen A.
